Church Farm Haven Holiday Park

Just had the most fantastic 11 nights staying at Church Farm .Both caravans Ballast Rise & Wall Field were lovely, clean & comfortable. The location is just beautiful, right on the Lagoon , harbour & beach. We enjoyed lovely walks & beach days . 20 minute walk to local pubs , The Lamb & Bear Inn where we had a nice meal & watched a great band on Saturday night. Also a good base to explore the local areas .Mash & Barrel had some good offers & is kept very clean but the service was slow . Waited over 30 mins for 2 breakfast rolls .Can't wait to come back!!

We recently stayed at 80 Wallfield Saver Caravan at Haven Church Farm, and it was truly one of the best family experiences we’ve ever had. This was our first time staying in a caravan, and it exceeded all our expectations! The caravan was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. My wife and two kids absolutely loved every moment of our stay. The swimming pools and kids’ play areas were fantastic – safe, well-maintained, and full of fun. Everything on site was thoughtfully planned to make families feel welcome and entertained. Thank you, Haven Church Farm, for making our holiday so memorable. We will definitely be coming back again!

I’ve stayed at three other Haven holiday parks before and had great experiences, which is why I booked seven nights at Church Farm — what a mistake. I arrived today and I’m already dreading the rest of my stay. I was allocated a 3 James St “Silver” caravan, which frankly should have been retired years ago. I booked a two-bed caravan but was given a cramped three-bed squeezed into the same footprint. It’s filthy — the floor was barely vacuumed, it’s sticky, the upholstery is stained, and the furniture is falling apart. The sofa is rock hard and uncomfortable. There are only two power sockets under the TV — nowhere convenient to charge your devices while sitting on the sofa. The balcony is so tiny that three people can’t even sit outside together. Parts of the furniture are chipped and peeling, and to top it all off, this is the first Haven caravan I’ve seen without a dishwasher! I’ve never had to do dishes by hand on holiday before — but here I’m stuck washing everything myself. To make it worse, the linen wasn’t clean either. And while other caravans have two double doors to the balcony, mine only has a single sliding door. I called customer services, who told me a dishwasher isn’t guaranteed and I should have paid extra for one — which I never saw as an option when booking. I asked to be moved but was told I’d have to pay even more. I booked less than a week ago, paid a premium price, and even paid £150 extra to “upgrade” to Silver, expecting a decent standard. Instead, I’m stuck in a shabby, uncomfortable caravan unless I pay again to switch. The whole place feels run down and neglected — it’s like being trapped in a dingy prison cell. Customer service could easily have moved me — the park is not fully booked — but they refused unless I paid more. So much for Haven being one company with consistent standards. I ignored the bad reviews about Church Farm and its poor customer service — big mistake. If you’re reading this, don’t ignore them like I did. This holiday has been a waste of money and has completely ruined my break. Avoid Church Farm. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
