MPT Devdaru Bungalow, Pachmarhi

Hotel was in heart of the city in beautiful surrounding atmosphere.Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, rooms were very spacious. Hotel Manager was very cooperative. Food was delicious. We spent a quality time in machan. Overall everything was value for money and service was attentive and efficient. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Staying in Devadaru was my one of the best experience in my life. Hotel rooms are very clean and outside greenery and par are well mentioned and outside nature view is very calm and attractive Best part is hotel staff is very supportive and well mannered and food also very delicious.

We were a group of three families including 3 kids in the first week of June for 2 nights/3 days. Location - The hotel is around 1.5-2 km from the main market but still gives a calm and quiet experience. Unlike other MPT/private hotels, there is hardly any traffic movement, and you get your share of peace. If you are in your vehicle, you may grab something from the market and come back in 10 minutes. Rooms - Large colonial-sized 8 rooms (perhaps the biggest in the entire Pachmari) with ultra-high ceilings give a cozy and cool ambiance. Rooms are equipped with a Mini-Fridge, Electric Kettle, AC, Geyser, TV with cable connection, cupboard, cozy mattresses, a set of chairs with a table, and a dressing table. The ample space in the room provides you an easy accommodation of an extra bed if you want. The bathrooms are also equally large, clean, and comfortable. They have provisions for both hot and cold water. The hotel also provides toiletries like soap, shampoos, lotions, etc. Food - There is an in-house restaurant that serves buffet breakfast and dinner, lunch is on the order as most of the travelers are out for exploration. The spread for breakfast is generally nice with fruits, juice, tea-coffee-milk, one South-Indian dish, one North Indian, Breads, and eggs to order. The taste of the food in breakfast is good. However, the dinner is not that exciting, they keep one veg, one paneer, one non-veg gravy with Dal-Rice and a dessert. The worst part is the vegetable gravy that is generally of Lauki (bottle gourd), Tori (Sponge gourd/Luffa), Barbati (long bean) etc, I fail to understand who eats those vegs in the hotel and what we make at home of those vegetables is usually better. Dessert is average and so is the non-veg. But if you order ala carte food, you get an amazing taste, that preparation is way too better than the buffet. But please confirm the rates before ordering because they billed us almost three times the quantity. Facilities - There is an outside lawn with chairs to give you a wonderful feeling of relaxation in the evening. There is an open-air gym cum kids recreation area in the compound which can be well utilized in the morning hours. Please do not miss out on the swing and the machan in the backyard, there you can have a more interesting time. Service - Hotel staff is courteous and prompt. They are helpful in all manner and being a less crowded place you get better attention. I must mention Mr Faizal Khan in the staff who took very good care of us. He helped in arranging the Gypsy and addressed various needs promptly. Other staff members especially the dining team were also good. Connectivity - Since you have to travel most of the time on Gypsy in Pachmarhi, this hotel helps you arrange those at the doorstep. On the list of places to visit, there are other blogs available. Best meals and very pleasant place to live in pachmarhi. Wery nice service and excellent behaviour of the staff. Meals in which breakfast and dinner are superb . I would suggest to live here. Bcz the property is just in between pachmarhi which is feasible.

The MPT Devdaru Bungalow is 120 years old.The surrounding is calm and peaceful. specialy in evening, Amazing place to spend with friends and relax.The services are really good and the staff is very friendly and supportive. Good atmosphere here.The food breakfast & dinner was good and our requested items were prepared and served.

Firstly the building is British time heritage structure, extremely well maintained by m.p.tourism department, rooms well maintained clean and hygienic. The staff is very good,polite and cooperative.manager mr mohan and RM Ashish Guptajee are very welcoming and humble...enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful experience with my stay at Pachmarhi. Went there with family. Nice peaceful & serene place amid the forests and nature’s full glory. A pre-independence, heritage property, the rooms were well maintained and hygienic and food was very tasty. The service was exceptional, all the guys Faizal, Amit and everyone else was very helpful, courteous & very cooperative. Kudos to the team. The place is highly recommended.
