Hampton Inn by Hilton Ozona

The perfect place to stay on our ride to Big Bend. Everything was wonderful from check in to check out. The staff at the desk were very nice. The room was clean. Despite being right off I-10 it was quiet, and we got a great night's sleep. Breakfast had lots of healthy options. As a plus, there is a Dairy Queen down the street!

The rooms are awesome and clean, the breakfast was a hit with my kids (birthday cake waffles, whipped cream, chocolate chips) and the rest of the choices were so good. I was also able to use the business center to make copies of some documents I needed. My only complain and the reason it didn’t get a 5 star review is because of the barn doors in the bathroom. There is no privacy, there is a big gap where everybody can see you. Yes, I traveled with family but I still want to be able to close the door all the way.

I drove from Arizona to Pennsylvania with my cat and dog, chose to stay at the Ozona Hampton . Their pet policy is $75 non refundable . I checked in and when I opened the door to my room there was feces ( small ) amounts in two places! The room was clean etc. I had not let my cat out of the crate or the dog out of my arms. I went to talk to the desk and she asked me to send her pictures, also offered to move me but after traveling 12 hours I just wanted to settle in. I sent the pictures and had stated I would like to talk to the manager. No one ever responded ! After I traveled to my home, I called the hotel, the lady at the desk insinuated that it was fresh feces in the picture !! I asked to leave a message for the manager as of course he was not available. I have left my number and several days later have not had the courtesy of a phone call. I was not expecting a free pet too but at least acknowledge that it was an error and MAYBE something off my bill. Also, I found the desk clerk didn't even stand to welcome me when I signed in. All other places have a pleasant welcome. I did not expect this for staying at a Hampton Inn. Just sorry this was handled in this manner.

The check-in was rough with an inattentive desk person. She was more concerned about eating dinner in the lobby with family/friends than getting my check-in handled. After we spent an hour on the phone with the 3rd party computer help center we were able to tell her she had assigned the incorrect room number to our name and therefore we couldn't get internet. She corrected her mistake and all was well. The hotel rooms/breakfast area is clean and breakfast staff is awesome! I highly suggest you give this hotel a try and if you have a bad experience at the front desk, reach out to the General manager Mr. Patel and tell him about your concerns. I was very pleased with his willingness to listen and hopefully focus on training the employees.

The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The room temperature was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and filling. A good combination of carbs and protein. There was plenty to eat. It was a very relaxing time. I strongly recommend it for anyone.

Absolutely fabulous property. So well kept and clean. We had a room to the back and didn’t hear the highway. It was a restful night. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and in excellent shape. The breakfast had the usual items and was restocked constantly. Would come back anytime.

The Hampton Inn Ocoza is a perfect option is you are traveling on I10 and looking for a solid, inexpensive, clean, safe and friendly night stay. Its a new or recently updated hotel right off the highway which makes it perfect for travelers. There is nothing fancy about the property but it delivers on everything you would want from a simple nice stay. There is not much around the hotel so you will have to drive a bit to get to a restaurant but that is really the only draw back. Great staff... clean and updated rooms. Really nice stay.

Room was probably the cleanest hotel room that I have ever been in. Looked like everything there was new from the top of the ceiling to the floor. I have been to a lot of Hilton properties but this was the very best.
