140 km north-east of Oulu, near Skiing center Syöte in Huuhkasenkangas area, L.Ala-Huuhkanen 50 m (length 1 km, width 100 m, forms a chain of lakes with two others), shared shore with 3 cottages, fairly deep, hard sand bottom, own boat. Path to the shore is quite steep.

Log cottage 1983, living room/kitchen, bedroom 2 beds, bedroom bunk bed and sofa bed, bedroom bunk bed and sofa bed, dressing room, washroom, sauna (electric stove ), open porch. Wireless Internet access 100 MB (WiFi).

Cottage is located in area covered by master plan for lake shores. Heathland surrounds cottage. Swimming shore shared by 3 cottages, shore suitable for children. Path to the shore is quite steep. Pets are allowed for extra fee.

Hair dryer, iron and ironing board in the cottage. Underfloor heating in the washroom, toilet and vestibule.

Mountain bike trails. Nature trail, which is 3 km long, starts in area, along the trail a lean-to and camp fire place. Cloudberry mires 1 km away, fell scenery, 1 km. UKK national hiking trail 0.5 km.

Syöte holiday resort 7 km, Isosyöte 12 km, on skis 7 km, snowmobile trail from cottage. Tennis court 100 m; free use of this is included in rent. Campfire with grill, smoker.

In winter season, a ski bus runs from Oulu to Syöte daily. Operates via Oulu Airport. On weekdays bus from Pudasjärvi to Syöte and back. Distance from the cottage to the stop is about 7 km. Always check both timetables in advance!
