"Nos alojamos en el hotel durante 6 noches. Tuvieron problemas con el registro, ya que la reserva se realizó a través de trip.com, que procedía de *******. Finalmente, lo solucionaron. La habitación era espaciosa y limpia. Ofrecían servicio de habitaciones todos los días, excepto un día que tenían poco personal. La ducha solo tiene media puerta, así que prepárense para salpicaduras. Recomiendo llevar su propio gel de ducha (el jabón que proporcionan es difícil de enjuagar) y champú. Las personas que no pueden dormir con ruido en la habitación deberían considerar otras opciones. El aire acondicionado es muy ruidoso (como una máquina de fábrica) y nos despertaba constantemente por la noche; no hay opción de abrir la ventana. El desayuno siempre es el mismo: huevos fritos/cocidos, salchichas, chuletas de cerdo, tortitas, manzanas, avena y pan. El comedor siempre estaba abarrotado; debería ser al menos el doble de grande. A veces llegábamos y no había comida, así que teníamos que esperar a que alguien viniera a traerla (no tienen a nadie allí de forma permanente). No puedo decir que nuestra experiencia fuera mala, pero tampoco fue estupenda."

"This was/still is hostel, set up as a hostel-like place with shared bathrooms and shared living room/kitchen area. I was there midweek during snowy weather, for a work event in nearby downtown and had the entire place to myself! It was a little lonely, actually. I don't know how it would have been had I had to share the space with others, but of the 4 rooms, only mine was occupied. Totally reminded me of a favorite place I lived in college, a historic boarding house also with shared bathrooms and living areas. My cozy bedroom had a lock on the door and the outer door was accessed via key card. Nice bedding. I slept well. The front desk for the Barefoot Inn is in the adjacent Swisshotel and Sabina at the desk was very helpful by phone and email when my flight was delayed and when I had to check in after 10:00pm. It's truly the Barefoot Inn-- you are required to remove your shoes upon entry. From the icy slop on the sidewalks outside you can see why. The space is very cute and nicely appointed. The bedrooms are all upstairs. There is one full bath upstairs and a powder room downstairs next to the kitchen. The kitchen has a college dorm vibe... hot plate, etc. Full fridge. You are requested to mark your food with your name and check-out date. It's a couple block walk to downtown, so it was an easy stroll to the convention center, and near all of the businesses on busy Rideau Street. Close to public transportation. Lots of foot traffic outside all day and night due to nearby university. Great little historic building and nostalgic feel."

"Disgustingly Dirty! Absolutely refused to stay here made my friend leave because it was so abhorrent. The Owner forgets the fact he's running a In instead he wishes to be an aspiring singer/song writer... There's a really odd atmosphere about this place I can't put my finger on. There was also no breakfast offered... The Days Inn to be honest was way cleaner had many unrestricted amenities. The owner refuses you to come and go as you please denying basic amenities, but your made to listen to his little concert. Read any given review and you'll find they accept all the praise but anytime someone has any negative feedback he goes up against it. Everything was dirty like Off white looking like sweaty white yellowish gold and there was no working Air Conditioning despite it being the hottest weather out... Owner is obnoxious and over jealous, thinks he's part of Canadian Idol or something rather than a Innkeeper at a rather mediocre Bed and Non Breakfast."
