Chautauqua communities are based on four pillars: religion, education, arts and recreation. Lakeside Ohio offers hundreds of activities to encourage growth in these four pillars. Due to the wonderful activities inside the gates, there is a small gate fee during summer season. A daily pass is around $30 for adults, $17 for youth ages 13-21, and $5 for children ages 5-12.
