Our initial room smelled of smoke, was damp, bed was very noisy, the bathroom was so small, my husband hit his knee against the door, which just barely cleared the toilet and curtains/drapes were missing hooks, so they did not completely hung properly. I complained to the desk clerk and we were told that the hotel was sold out that night and that we could possibly be moved to another room the following day. The following day, we were moved to an "accessible" room which provided a larger bathroom and more comfortable bed. However, there wasn't anywhere to hang our clothes nor a place for our toiletries. That room also had curtains/drapes that were skewed and would not close properly. We informed the desk clerk, who didn't have any idea as to help us secure our privacy because "maintenance" was gone for the night. I asked her for some suggestions as to how to secure the curtains. She suggested a bread package tie. I tried that, but I couldn't reach the problem area. I went back to the desk clerk and asked if there was a step stool I could use. She told me no. So I then asked her if I could use one of the breakfast room chairs. She then called someone to get permission to allow me borrow the chair. She told me I could use the chair but that if I got hurt, I would be held responsible. The reservation I had made was non-refundable, so we were forced to stay for 3 nights! I couldn't get out of there quickly enough. NEVER AGAIN!
