Welcome to this lovely holiday home set on a beautiful island in Roslagen, a part of the archipelago of Stockholm. There are no cars allowed on the island so peace and quiet is a guarantee!The cottage has a traditional, pretty exterior and a tastefully decorated interior. It has an open-plan kitchen and livingroom. The kitchen is equipped with the basic amenities and the living room features a cosy sofa suite, a wood-burning stove, a TV, and a DVD-player. The bathroom is on the bottom floor and I is equipped with a WC, a washbasin, a shower, and a washing machine.The house has three bedrooms; one with a double bed, one with a single bed, and one with a double bed and two single beds.The house is set on a big, beautiful forest plot of 4000 squa metres. It has a lovely terrace and a large barbecue grill. You can catch a boat to Stockholm, Vaxholm, and Sandhamn. The boats leave three times a day.Please note: Theres no grocery shop on the island. The closest grocery shop is in Vaxholm, a 45-minute boat ride away. Vaxholm is a beautiful town with an old fortress, art exhibits, shops, and restaurants.Stockholm is well known for its beauty and its historical sites. Be sure to visit Drottningholms castle, the summer home of the royal family! Its is located next to the exotic castle Kina Slott and the delightful castle garden. In and around the city you will find plenty of things to do and see.
