Boutique Hotel & Restaurant Cordial

The first thing to note is better signs are needed. It is very easy to miss the secluded gates on the main road (which lead to the car park). Signs on the side and front of hotel are not good either. However, once we found the car park and went into the hotel it is very nice. Reception was good with a smooth check-in and we were personally walked to our room. The whole building is a converted factory so sound echoes a lot. Our room (no 5) was spacious and well equipped if not somewhat quirky. No real windows to speak of (that you can look out) other than 2 very small low level ones with blinds and two skylights. The room didn't have an iron or ironing board, but reception brought these to our room very quickly. We stayed here to attend a party and were told that after midnight you had to call a number for entry. We didn't get back to the hotel until around 01:30 and there was already another couple calling to get access. Eventually somebody did come to let us in. We didn't eat at the restaurant, other than to have breakfast which was good. Check out was easy and the staff asked how our stay was - Overall it was good. We paid around £135 for one night B&B. Parking was free.

Super clean Room, Great Shower, and Convenient Free Parking. Breakfast could use a little TLC (I think the addition of Eggs, Fresh Fruit, and Cheeses, would already be an improvement) The Staff was very nice. For example, after the final day of the 4-Day Walk, (while I had checked out of the hotel already) they offered me a shower in one of the rooms they had designated for the tired walkers to freshen up. Super nice!!!! Of course I accepted. Thanks again.

We had booked with friends for a special occasion, and it was more than worthwhile, mildly speaking. Nice table close to the open fire, and course to course it was 'sublime'. Including the wine arrangement, we had ccecided to stay over in one of the very convient rooms, what is a bonus after a dinner, and no worries for travelling home!
