This was a case of needing an overnight at the last moment, so I'm grateful they had the room. Pluses: The room was very clean and tidy. The air conditioner was old but did the job very adequately, and the small breakfast table was on casters. The pool was clean and central, with an attractive barbequing area beside it. Westridge Motor Inn would seem to cater well to families. It is on the western edge of town and has a dedicated turn lane going west, so very easy to access. However, the amenities are pretty spotty. In the queen room (very small) there was a small two-cup coffee maker with envelopes of coffee, sugar, etc. but NO MUGS OR SPOONS! There was an extremely strong smell of sweet air freshener that either dissipated or which I became nose-blind to, but required that windows and doors be left open to get fresh air in. People with scent sensitivities should avoid this place. The screen on the window was damaged and not sitting properly. One tiny funny detail was that the paper envelope for the keycard was old, crumpled and a bit frayed, unlike every other place I've stayed that provides a pristine card envelope. Not a big issue but indicative, I think, of perhaps a little too much frugality. Also, for those who like to walk, either into town or to the mall just across the highway, this would be challenging as there are no sidewalks until the north-south highway is crossed (!!!).
