Casa al Sole in Ortisei is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the warmth and kindness of the family running the hotel made us feel right at home. They truly go above and beyond to provide personalized service, ensuring that every guest feels special. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful homemade breakfast with fresh ingredients from their nearby farm. It was the perfect way to start our day of hiking! The rooms were not only spotlessly clean but also modern and comfortable. The hotel also has a fantastic bar with a wonderful selection of local wines. Plus, its location couldn't be better—just a short walk to the center of town, where plenty of restaurants are located, and very close to the gondolas for easy access to the mountains. I highly recommend Casa al Sole to anyone visiting Ortisei. You won’t find a more charming place to stay, complete with thoughtful touches and a welcoming atmosphere. We can't wait to return!

Everything about Casa al Sole is exceptional. The graciousness of the owners and the simple, clean decor and design all create a wonderful sense of ease. Manuel and Alexandra gave us excellent hiking suggestions in addition to the delicious food and drink they provided at breakfast and at their evening bar. Their thoughtfulness as hosts really made our stay memorable.

This was our “splurge” for lodging on our trip to Italy and well worth it! The location was great-walking distance to the heart of town and numerous restaurants, to the lifts and bus stop. The rooms were super clean, comfortable, and simply but stylishly furnished. Manuel and Alexandra were wonderful hosts, offering restaurant and hike recommendations. They even loaned us hiking poles, and the delicious lemonade after our hikes was pretty special. The gourmet breakfasts were out of this world, and served with such friendliness and expertise. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We have just returned from an excellent few days at Casa Al Sole. The room was very comfortable with a Scandi style look and feel - clean and simple. The care and attention to breakfast, evening cocktails and snacks is excellent. Different delicacies are served each morning and you feel that the owners really care about every aspect of their guests' stay. For ease of access to the ski lifts, a car would be helpful but not essential for visitors.

I stayed in two hotels in Ortisei and I wish I only stayed at Casa al Sole! The hospitality and the service of the hosts Alexandra and Manuel, and the rest of the staff, are just heartwarming. The hotel and rooms are delicately decorated in a Scandinavian modern style that gives you a calm and good feeling just entering the door. The breakfast is delicious with homemade tasty food. You get your own table with your name on it. Travelling alone I felt so safe and was so grateful for all the help I got from Alexandra with planning all my hikes, even for the days I sadly did not stay at the hotel. The location is just perfect with so many options for hikes and gondolas within short walking distance and it’s just a few minutes walk to the qute city of Ortisei with restaurants, shops and all you need! My holiday in the Dolomites would not have been the same If I had not stayed at Casa al Sole! I highly recommend it!

If you are staying in the Dolomites region I highly recommend booking your stay here!! Be sure to book in advance as they are only 12 rooms in this local gem! The location is perfect and is within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and hiking. All of the staff was incredibly welcoming, and helpful with their many recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails! When we checked in we also received 2 passes for the local bus to get around if need be! There are a few stairs to get up to get into the building, but there is a lift available to bring your luggage up, which the staff kindly brought to our room for us! The rooms are very clean and updated with incredible views! The rooms do not have tv's which was no issue for us as we were tired by the end of the day after exploring this beautiful region! The breakfasts were delicious with different offerings prepared daily. I cannot say enough good things about our stay and would absolutely stay here again in the future!

Alexandra and Manuel are without a doubt the best hosts ever! The place is impeccable. Rooms are roomy....Location: walking distance to the old town. (5 mins maybe) Their restaurant reco's were bang on.... They have a list of restaurants they recommend available to you and the walking distance to each of them in minutes. The eagerly made reservations for you. The breakfast is divine. Different specialties every morning. Their staff (including Rupi and the the lady who served us breakfast) were so friendly and fun! Ample parking if you are driving..... great wines and beers on site as they have a happy hour every day (except Tuesday) from 4-8. I am not exaggerating when I say they hosts are the best I have ever encountered. It is not a hotel, I would call it an "inn" but not in the traditional sense..... Thank you so much A&M for such a wonderful stay and all your help! You create a home away from home!

This is a must stay place if you plan to stay on Ortesei. Manual and Alex are the consumate B&B hosts. Rooms are spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. Wake each morning, walk into breakfast, and your name is on a name card on the table reserved for you. The fresh yogurt, fruit, butter, and honey are all locally sourced. Served the owners makes it more special. They are a great source for hiking tips. Thank you, Alex and Manual, for a memorable stay.

As we drove to Ortisei, we were greeted by the impressive Peak of Sassolungo, a view that became familiar from our balcony at Casa Al Sol. The house is a magical combination of old and new, history and vision. Feelings of being at home and Spa like comfort co-exist with ease. Alexandra, sincerely cares about guiding you towards the best experiences in the mountains. Manuel makes sure you enjoy all the details of high end hospitality, and graciously answers the endless questions of the guests. This is by far one of the best places we have ever stayed, the people make sure you feel it and remember it that way. Thank you Alexandra, Manuel and Tina, we hope to see you again!
