My partner and I stayed for 5 nights in this cute duplex in January. Despite the cold weather, outside, we were warm and comfortable. The duplex is spacious and tastefully furnished with authentic cappadocian features. We were welcomed by the house manager on arrival who ensured that we got everything we needed. The village of Ortahisar itself is very centrally located in Cappadocia, yet it is more peaceful than the more touristic places. Highly recommended.

When I researched this property, I was a little confused about the layout. There are three adjoining houses. We rented two of them, the Cave House and Cave House with Turkish Bath. We were delighted with both. (I don't recall if the rates were the same, but we preferred the Cave House, which was roomier and has a private terrace, though three people coexisted happily in the other one.) Both are roomy and beautiful, incredibly well stocked and nicely decorated. The optional Turkish breakfast is delicious and reasonably priced. The town is a little off the beaten path, which we prefer, but there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Hayri, the property manager, was extremely responsive to all of our requests.
