Arya Blu Inn and Suites

I booked this room last minute after TripAdvisor messed up my reservation at a place in Daytona. I was really in a pinch. I was running very late due to the messed up reservation. I was in town for a race at the speedway and didn't want to miss the start. They said I could check in early and the lady at the desk sent someone up to get my room ready ASAP. She also suggested a close place to grab lunch and a beer while I waited. I figure eat better food for less than at the track. I got into the room and it was nicely fresh and redone. The shower was really nice and the bed was comfortable. I had an ocenfront room and there were large windows facing south and east. The view was really nice. There are also chairs and little tables on the walkway overlooking the pool (which looked really nice, likely redone after Matthew) and the beach...and yeah, the parking lot. The place is almost done being renovated. The hotel's name wasn't even on the front of the building yet, so it's easy to miss. I missed my race start by about 40 minutes, but without their hustle it would have been by like 2 hours. I really appreciated the effort. I live only an hour or so north and like to get down for a quick getaway weekend. I typically stay in Daytona but I think I'll give Arya Blu a try when I can spend more time there....have a beer by the pool....read my book and watch the ocean. Added some pics. The room pic isn't that good as it was from my phone and I was in a big hurry to get to my race.

Bad: Peeling paint, broken footboard, dirty doors and baseboards, broken air con, towels smaller than normal, holes in comforter, closet door removed from hinges, no one at front desk multiple times in evening, old and dated. Expected much more for such a high price per night. Good: showers were good. Good size fridge.

Poor Customer Service During the week long stay which was the 4th week in a row the property lost power to half the building. When the owner was asked at the front desk if the power was not restored in the section we were in could we please change rooms for one with power i was rudely told no there would be no room changes allowed. I asked if that night would be at no charge due to no power i once again was rudely told NO that i would still be charged and it wasn't his problem the power was out. Every building around it had power only they had issues.

Bitter sweet stay I was charged twice and the same night and took a whole week to refund the money back on the card when the person who intake us said that they refunded the money back to the car the same night I called to be told that she never did the refund. So it was done a week later and then took another 4 days for me to receive it because the initial room that they put us in was not up to par so they moved us to another room where the jacuzzi tub was broke. We decided to stay another night so we could have the jacuzzi room where the tub was actually working on our last night that day in the morning my husband and I left to go fishing. When we came back we noticed that someone had been in our room even though we had to do not disturb sign on the door. Aunt, there was water all on the ledge of the tub and we had never even used the tub. We moved our belongings to the room and left to go fishing to leave. Nicole was notified by me and she was boggled as well. I asked her to look at the camera. She said she was not allowed to look at the camera. She didn't have access so I was very disappointed in that. We kind of felt violated but we did love your hotel. Nicole was amazing. She was the best staff. Very attentive, just great. When I let her know about the situation she was upset about it and said that she would help us out if and when we decide to stay again. So we just booked again for June 11th to the 13th. Hopefully it's a lot smoother this time thank you

Breakfast consists of jug of coffee, orange juice, small apples and very small muffins. Not recommended for the price off de rooms.

Outdated but beach access When we arrived, there was barely parking. The spaces were very small too. We got our room which was a suite and it did not have a balcony or way to leave the room without going through the entire buidling. There were huge pieces of glass in the halls as well. Very outdated but cleanish. When we asked to move to another room and even pay extra they were rude and said there were no other rooms. Then told us we could get one if we make a whole different reservation. Frustrating to say the least.
