We booked this property / room so we could sleep for a couple of hours and swim after we arrived on a redeye flight from LA. Our flight was to land at 6:30. We checked in on the Disney World app a week ahead and were expecting a room assignment around 4pm, but were never given one. Fast forward to our arrival at 9:00 (our flight was delayed) we went to the front desk to get a room number and were finally given a room (two hours before checkout). We walked down to our room and imagine our surprise when a maid walked out of our room! I asked what she was doing and she told us she was almost done cleaning the room. How is that possible if checkin was at 4pm and it is now 9am the following day? Clearly they rented our room to someone else and gave us the first available room that was cleaned the next day. Regardless, we waiting in the hall for 5 min for her to finish and dropped our bags. The room was ok, nothing special at all. We then decided since it was now 9 that we would go have breakfast, and swim for a bit. Breakfast was a typical quick service and again average at best. We changed into our swim clothes and it was now after 10am and the main pool was to be open. We walked in to swim and then were told the pool is closed due to insufficient water levels and to check back later. We went to the DVC pool that was overcrowded due to the other pool being closed, swam for 10 min, grabbed our bags and left. Clearly this is not a property that we will be coming back to. While it looks great on paper and photos, I doesn't feel that way when you are there. We will not be back.
