Great country atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Great menu with Pub staples such as parkas & fish & chips . Also great selection of Chefs meals. Generous servings. Well cooked & promptly served. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Local lads building a great business.

If you are not looking for anything flash this is ok for overnite stay. Clean small rooms shared bathroom. Only one ladies toilet and shower But the price is cheap so you get what you pay for. Staff lovely. Meals huge and delicious. Would stay again

We called into this pub just because it was closest to our caravan park site. Immediately noticed how clean it was. Staff were very friendly. Strong winds and bushfires had closed roads so some staff were trapped on the other side of road blocks. New owners to the rescue. Everyone pitched in and even though the Dining room was packed our meals were superb. Hubby had porterhouse with mushroom sauce medium rare which was cooked to perfection. I had fish and chip (fish was fresh flake from Lakes Entrance in a perfect beer batter) which was sensational. All the staff were overworked but still had time to make us feel welcome. It was a crazy night. The locals were very tense because the weather conditions were replicating those of the Black Summer bushfires that wiped out so many nearby communities. We witnessed the publican hand over boxes of take away meals to the local volunteer firefighters which would have stretched an already busy kitchen. We are in deep admiration of the new owners and wish them every success

Rissoles and mash, I got two meat balls and mash with vegetables, bloody disgusting I ordered apple crumble it was beautiful.i try my best to shop local but this is what orbost locals are up against i hope it changes.
