Antica Fattoria La Parrina

I want to share my experience which has been unfortunately very unpleasant. I stayed at the property for three days, planning to relax and enjoy the facilities, including the bar, the restaurant and the pool. Unfortunately, my stay turned into a nightmare because one of the guests who had a big dog that was barking all the time, running after cats and people refused to keep it on the leash. Other guests also complained about it but the staff was unable to have the rules enforced. We could not spend a single hour during our stay at the pool or other common areas. During the day, we had to spend our time outside the property, paying extra charge/fee to other establishments to avail of their pool. The lady with the dog would have breakfast at the restaurant walking around with the dog unleashed. We had to rush our breakfast as we were terrified. The staff was aware of it, we reported it on the first day as well as other guests did, but nothing was done, not even offering any compensation. The day we left, the staff behaved liked nothing happened, not even asked how our stay was and when we brought it up again, they just apologized.

We did not stay there, just went to the wonderful shop for local products. We did look around and it would be great fun to stay there, I think. It's a unique place, it has an intriguing and elegant atmosphere.

If you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy good food and wine this is the place to go to. The place itself is in need of some maintenance and renovation but it the perfect place for a relaxing few days in the middle of vignards and greens. The restaurant could be improved as if you are staying over 2 days the menu has not a big variety and is overpriced. However, the bar has amazing aperitif platters with homemade cheese and wines. The waiter Massimiliano was of extreme help and very kind. We lodged in the apartments, which is an advantage as you can buy vegetables in their local market and cook at home. I would suggest to add some activities (yoga, qigong) if people stay longer periods

Lovely hotel in wonderful rural setting. Spacious rooms with antique furniture and comfortable beds. The dining room is spectacular overlooking the gardens and countryside and serving delicious local produce. Also some great wines on offer produced on the estate. Will definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely stay here. We had a complaint about our room and we were immediately moved to a better one. Staff were really wonderful and apologetic and made up for our first night. The breakfast is generous and delicious although I would avoid the egg and bacon and rather feast on the delicious cheese, salami, ham, fruit and home made cakes. We only had dinner on one night of our three night stay and it was rather average. Much more fun to drive into nearby Orbetello. The VBT bike tour is hosted here and the main dining/breakfast room was given to the members of this tour. We were sidelined to a smaller table outside the

From start to finish, we had a magical time celebrating our wedding at La Parrina. The thoughtful and attentive staff did a fantastic job, a special thanks to Lucia! This is an intimate location with rooms that have a lot of charm. We already knew La Parrina from summer visits and always found the quality of the food and wines (go for a wine tasting!) to be excellent (especially where produce from their own farm is used) and our wedding dinner was no exception. Highly recommended.

Die “Antica Fattoria La Parrina” ist ein landwirtschaftlicher Grossbetrieb in der fruchtbaren Ebene hinter Orbetello. Neben einer großen Vielfalt von Eigenprodukten wie Wein, Olivenöl, Fleisch oder Käse werden auch Gästezimmer und Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten im eigenen Restaurant angeboten. Die Zimmer und das Restaurant sind in einem prächtigen, alten Landhaus untergebracht. Die ruhigen, großzügig geschnittenen Zimmer sind mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, die für einen erholsamen, entschleunigten Aufenthalt auf dem Land nötig sind. Ein Fernseher gehört da richtigerweise nicht dazu! Zum im Übernachtungspreis inbegriffenen Frühstück oder auch zum Nachtessen im Restaurant werden ehrliche, hausgemachte, mehrheitlich aus dem eigenen Betrieb stammende Speisen in vorzüglicher Qualität gereicht. Wir waren am Morgen wie auch am Abend sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit zum Essen und Übernachten wiederkommen.

Posto incantevole, immerso nel verde. Con tanti animaletti: asini, maialini, papere, galline e tanti gatti. Ottimo tagliere con crostini con olio (fatto da loro) e ottime ricottine di capra. Non ho avuto modo di soggiornare ma magari sarà per una prossima volta.

Siamo stati accolti da uno staff gentile e competente che ci ha fatto sentire a casa, in una atmosfera elegante, ma cordiale. Colazione e ristorante che utilizza prodotti biologici e del territorio. Vicina al mare e alle mete più interessanti della Maremma. Super consigliato
