Airport Guest House

Nothing to write home about. Access was relatively convenient and with no physical person to meet you for check in it was an easy process. Room door had the key in it when I arrived. The door had a crack in the bottom and every time another customer came in or out of the build I could hear everything in the room. It was not conducive to sleep. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were dirty/stained (picture could not upload, but visibly dirty/used in multiple spots). The walls were stained as well (see picture). Fine if you can sleep through anything and not mind dirty sheets, but in my opinion not worth the ＞$125 USD price (I would probably pay $45 based on the quality of the stay). Note: Not related to this particular hotel, but use the Gett taxi app NOT uber to get there. Significantly cheaper!

Although I booked this months ago 24 hours before our arrival I was told that because of the Sabbath we could not book in until 8-30 pm. I was offered a full refund if I wanted to go somewhere else. We had planned to be there because of our early morning flight, it was arranged that we could sit in the dirty room, and dirty it was, until 9 pm when it would be cleaned. Eventually a Russian cleaner( no English) came, cleaned and we could settle in. There was a heated discussion about the taxi booking that I had asked for to get us to the airport. The taxi did come and take us to the airport. As I stepped into the taxi a thank you for your booking review of Airport Guest House flashed across my phone. I did complete this review on booking, com. Somehow I have been blocked from making a review!!

REAL BAD EXPERIENCE. In the first place, the Manger, David, is not ethical at all. Secondly, the place is a shack. It has no elevator. The place is overpriced. And watch out!!!!, I ordered a taxi, through some guide they had on the board at the entrance. I arranged directly with the driver, Moses is his name, who came early in the morning for an airport service. Even though it was explained the taxi driver would take credit cards, he didn´t accept cards when he arrived. I happened to go with another passenger to airport, and we paid the driver 50 USD in cash (because he wouldn´t take credit cards) However, what surprised I got when I noticed the owner, of this hostel David, had charged 140 shekels on my credit card right he same day. Basically, I got charged by the taxi and hotel, twice. When I got home, I claimed to David, and instead of reimbursing the money he was very defensive saying I didn´t pay the driver (we paid him 50 USD which is more that the closed deal of 140 shekels)… Basically, they got the service paid twice. This place is not worth at all. The price paid is a lot for what you get. The management is unethical, and stubborn. I wouldn´t spend a minute, neither a dolar in this business.

I stayed here for one night in March 2023. The guest house is in a excellent location for the Ben Gurion Airport just a 15 minute taxi ride to terminal 3. Upon entering is a lobby with tea and coffee facilities and biscuits. There is a list with names of the guests and the room you are in, as well as taxi driver info and the WiFi details etc. The room itself is a good size with a double bed, desk, two chairs and wardrobes. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet with towels and toiletries. There is a TV, good strong WiFi and USB ports by the bed, however only one of them work on each side. There are also normal plug sockets. A kettle is provided with tea and coffee facilities The air conditioning system was broken so no hot air would come out so the room got rather cold. The walls are quite thin so you can hear everyone leaving in the early hours and taxis arriving outside, but as my flight was also very early it wasn’t an issue for me. An ideal place to stay close to Ben Gurion Airport before an early flight.
