After enjoying several stays at Berulia, we decided to try something new this year and booked Jadran. It was an excellent choice. The hotel absolutely met our expectations. The food was outstanding. We loved the concept of ordering main fish/meat courses à la minute, ensuring fresh and tasty dishes every time. We really appreciated the hotel’s efforts to reduce food waste, which were implemented on several levels. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options to satisfy all tastes. The pool area was peaceful and not too crowded. The nearby beach was stunning, typical of the Makarska Riviera. We enjoyed the hotel's terrace for evening drinks with great views. The hotel's slightly secluded location away from the bustling town of Tucepi contributed to its tranquil atmosphere. We also appreciated the less crowded beach in this area. My only complaint was the gym with an apparent air-conditioning malfunction which made it quite difficult to work out. The equipment was also in need of maintenance. Despite reporting the AC issue, it wasn't really resolved. Overall, our stay at Jadran was fantastic. The hotel's rich history combined with its modern amenities created a memorable experience. We thoroughly relaxed and would happily return. The spacious, clean room was an added bonus.

We have been before and there are a few changes. The beach is now a public beach and this has affected the pool area. Folks going and reserving their sunbed very early (so annoying when they don’t even use it until 4pm) this was not how it was last year. The hotel has changed from a Tui to a blue sun and there are definite changes, There are some staff that are still there which is great as they understand the standard and new ones that cannot even crack a smile. We had a sea view this time which was absolutely stunning, you cannot compete with this view! We went half board and yes you have to change it up as it can be repetitive we have to say the food was good quality each night. Yes the drinks are expensive, it was very hot and water should have been a given not charged. I would be happy with tap water. The breakfast is very good and the bakery is exceptional. Previously it was more adults only, this time there was a lot of children and dogs, this was not what I was expecting. Small things like ice machines in the corridors were not working and it was not just on one floor, they were not fixed over a 2week period. A sea side room is not on the side of the hotel it has an amazing view of the sea, well worth the extra Ok this hotel is good and has a good vibe, I was expecting the same standard as last year and I am sorry it did not live up to it.

Hotel Jadran offers an excellent blend of lovely food, great views, and a serene location perfect for relaxation. We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind on the Dalmatia coast. Location Quiet and Relaxing: Ideal for those seeking peace day and night. The evening entertainment finished at a reasonable hour so as not to interrupt anybody trying to sleep. Proximity to Attractions: Close to Tucepi town and beach, and about an hour's walk from Makarska. Accommodation Sea View Room: Highly recommended Its cleanliness, modern amenities, and overall comfort are great. Negatives: Air conditioning limited to a low of 19 degrees and the mini-fridge can't be used for personal items. Hotel Facilities Clean and Well-Maintained: The hotel is tidy and equipped with everything you might need. Loungers: Plenty available on the terraces, but more could be added by replacing lesser-used seating areas. Pools: Two well-maintained pools in sunny spots. Beach: Close, private pebble beach for hotel guests. However, loungers require an additional fee, which seems unreasonable given that we had already paid for our stay. Staff Pleasant and Helpful: Attentive, polite, and spoke multiple languages including English, which we did not expect and was very impressive. Dining Buffet Restaurant: The highlight of our stay. Varied options for breakfast and dinner with fresh cooking stations for fish, meats, pasta, and stir fry. Negatives: No free or tap water at dinner. High prices for drinks, we expect alcohol to be expensive but the soft drinks were a surprise including €4.40 for a Fanta or €4.50 for a large bottle of water. We would be more enticed to purchase the more expensive drinks if water was already included or more reasonably priced. Suggestions Offer a happy hour and provide water with dinner to encourage more drinks purchases from guests. Conclusion Overall, Hotel Jadran is highly recommended for a stay on the Dalmatia coast. It is worth the transfer from Split and provided us with a much-needed relaxing and enjoyable summer break. Book now!

Amazing hotel. 5 star experience; service, food, cleanliness, room… couldn’t fault a thing. Staff were very friendly especially the Slovak chef. Food was fresh and lots of variation. Views from our room were as if from a postcard. Location is perfect we couldn’t have asked for any more for our honeymoon.

Overall this was a good hotel but not 5 star. Positive was the sea view from the room, beautiful. The room itself was spotless clean but rather small. It’s the little things that stop this being a higher score, like not providing water with your main meal. The hotel itself is very clean and the 2 pools are lovely, but the inside space for the number of guests is not really big enough, especially if the weather is not brilliant. Staff are generally polite and functional rather than exceptional, except the lady cooking your eggs in a morning she was lovely, bright with a smile and deserves a mention. Drink prices were ok for a hotel. Evening entertainment was very low key and good when they played on the terrace. The restaurant though is a little like a school dinning hall when busy, try if you can to sit on the terrace far better. The quality of the food is generally good and plentiful but is often very busy which makes it less pleasurable. Breakfast here is excellent. We ate out a few nights for a change. Can recommend the Gusari restaurant about 10 minute walk away. Overall this is a good relaxing hotel and we enjoyed our holiday here although we would recommend going earlier in September because of the weather, and we would stay 7 nights rather than 14 nights next time. Tucepi (20 minute walk) is nice and quiet with plenty of places to eat and Makarska is a great place (50 min walk or 2.5€ each on the family bus), so if your looking for a quiet retreat for your holiday this could be right for you.

This was our second stay at the Jadran and it was again, exceptional. The beach front location is amazing, offering incredible sea views and beautiful sunsets. We found all of the staff to be so friendly & helpful. The reception team always went out of their way to help us - a huge thanks to Helena & the team. We loved our meals at the hotel and a special thanks to Marija who is so lovely!! The one and only thing that slightly lets down this hotel is the gym - it’s a shame that the air conditioning still doesn’t work - even a few fans would help to make it usable - we need somewhere to burn off all the lovely breakfast pastries 😃 We hope yo be back soon - thanks again!

Hotel has a fantastic location with a beautiful beach and pine forest, but be aware that most of the loungers and umbrellas come with an extra charge. The rooms are comfortable but fall short of the 5-star standard. There is no proper divide between room balconies, whitch is a lack of privacy, so you get a bit of a feeling of shared balcony. Amazing view, though. There are only two small elevators, often causing a congestion. On the positive side, the food is excellent, and the staff, especially chefs Marija and Matko, are exceptionally friendly and professional. Overall, while the hotel offers a good stay, it does not fully justify its 5-star rating. For the price you pay, I would expect better service and amenities. I hope the hotel will make improvements in these areas to truly earn its 5, stars in the future.

I haven't been there inside, but they blocked path to the beach and put some rocks and they called it path but it is not a path to the beach. Disable citizens and parents with children cannot use that path. I wonder if you can do that in Germany. Croatia is in European Union and we are civilised country so please make normal path to the beach.
