Good- The hospitality and standards of taj were very well maintained. The garden area is beautiful. Breakfast was great!! Not so good - the 2 bedroom suite had just one bathroom and the suits are in the middle of reception. No privacy in that sense. The individual rooms are much better

Had a really lovely stay at Zostel Ooty. The best part about staying there were the dogs that would visit. The food was all right. Only, it’s quite limited. There are only North Indian options. Travelling in South India, I would expect the local cuisine to be included more than that of any other region. Dosa and lemon rice would have been perfect “safe” additions. Also, please do remove the trunks from underneath the beds. Nobody uses them and they take up baggage space, thereby making the dorms seem crowded. The dinner tables are quite greasy even though I’ve seen the staff clean them regularly. So a hard scrub once in a while would do wonders. The bonfire and music should begin as soon as it gets dark. Zostel would definitely be my first choice when I’m booking my next hostel. The ambience is great. The staff is prompt, helpful, and friendly. It’s clean. The view is great.

The stay at al woodland was fabulous and owner and staff was so humble and from my perspective only hotel in ooty that provide view of entire ooty from balcony and from room also will always prefer this hotel this made my stay in heaven

I recently had the pleasure of staying at hotel blue bird in ooty. Situated in the heart of ooty, hotel blue bird boasts a prime location with easy access to popular attractions such as the botanical gardens and ooty lake. The hotel's rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and meticulously maintained. I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Firstly, I was given a room in an extension block that seemed to have been built recently. It was modern but lacked the charm and character of a true heritage property. The main building, with its fireplace and historic ambience, was nowhere to be found. This was especially disappointing considering the premium price I paid, comparable to what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. The lack of attention to detail continued throughout my stay. When I checked in on a rainy day, I had to walk to the extension block without an umbrella despite the muddy road. The staff seemed unbothered by this inconvenience. Additionally, the room didn't have slippers, and the floor was cold, with no heating available (although they did provide a basic room heater when requested). To make matters worse, I had to call the front desk to confirm my room for the second day, which should have been done automatically as part of their standard procedure. This lack of efficiency only added to my frustration. The toiletries were also woefully inadequate, with only basic soap and shampoo provided. Power cuts were frequent, and I had to notify the front desk each time, which seemed like a hassle the hotel should have anticipated. The breakfast buffet was uninspiring and lacked flavour. To make matters worse, I had dinner at their restaurant, which was rated top in Ooty, but my experience was average at best. To add insult to injury, they got our order wrong, substituting Nasi Goreng (fried rice) with Mee Goreng (fried noodles). When I brought this to their attention, they made no effort to compensate for the mistake. In conclusion, Hotel King's Cliff fails to live up to its reputation as a heritage property or even a 2-star hotel. The overpricing and lack of attention to detail make it a poor choice for travellers seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Ooty.

El hotel está situado en good......Common Las áreas están bien mantenidas, pero las habitaciones no están reflejadas en la foto en el sitio ....El restaurante no está muy viejo *** aunque el personal es bueno, pero creo que hay mucho margen para mejorar. ...El desayuno buffet es bueno ....El sabor biryani fue bueno ....La comida en general fue bueno ...Tenía que esperar más de 30 minutos para que el personal del hotel me transferiera mi equipaje de la habitación durante el check-out .....Ha habido una gran diferencia entre el precio como se menciona en trip.com y directamente con hotel.....Trip.com fue menos para la misma Suite Privilegiada ....
