Kuzu Onsen Takasekan

We stayed at this ryokan for two nights. It is located in beautiful surroundings with mountains in all directions and a river running by. The staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly. The Inn itself is modest but perfectly comfortable. The hot baths seem a little hotter than usual. They are also larger than I’ve typically encountered. Nevertheless, the baths are the central feature of this inn and will not disappoint. The outdoor bath is splendidly set with stunning views. The food is traditional Japanese and generously presented. No wifi appears to be available. There are lovely walks nearby and even along the main road as there is very little traffic. One thing to keep in mind is that they take only cash, and there are no ATMs nearby. So come prepared.
