Apartamentos Do Parque

The location is good and there is ample car parking. Prior to our arrival I contacted the property and asked if we could check in between 14.00 and 15.00. I had written confirmation from them checking the time and asking me to confirm;I did so. It was therefore very annoying on arrival at 14.15 to be told that we could not check in until 15.00 because there was no one at reception. This was our second visit and will be our last.

We found this apartment suited us just fine. Older, basic units with a fantastic ocean view. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. You will need to bring your own beach towel if needed, and food, spices, kleenex, etc. There are grocery stores within walking distance and many restaurants to choose from, including a snack bar on site. We would go back for sure.

Nice hotel in great location. Quiet but near the main town. Good facilities including 2 pools and a cafe. Pool open 9-8 and cafe 9-6. Good views across the bay and lots of bars and good walks nearby. Staff are good, friendly helpful and hardworking.

A family holiday in Albufeira and a review of hotels here on Trip Advisor took us to the Apartamentos do Parque. Booking wasn't any trouble at all despite the fact I had to change dates 3 times. I contacted the hotel about getting a room with a balcony and transport from the airport. Couldn't be happier with how our requests were dealt with. We were met at the airport as scheduled and a 35-minute drive later we arrived at the hotel. Check-in was quick and easy and we went up to our room. 2 bedrooms, both ensuite, kitchen with all the mod cons (but not very many plug sockets) and a nice big living/dining room. Really big balcony with an amazing view of the sea, One of the best hotel views I've had. The rooms were very clean when we arrived Lots of room for our bags and clothes. Comfortable beds. Not a lot of wash things in the bathroom, just soap actually but not a big deal. The room was cleaned each day to a very high level. TV channels were limited, mostly we watched CNN and Eurosport but only when we were getting ready to go out for the day. Plenty of kitchen utensils if you want to cook for yourself. We asked for blankets (it got cool in the evenings) and we got them straight away. Didn't need maintenance. Despite being so close to the beach it was very quiet. The balcony had a sun lounger, table and chairs and a clothes rack for the wet swimming togs. There are 3 pools, a small one for tiny kids, a larger pool and another smaller pool in the quiet area. All were well stocked with sun loungers and umbrellas. All were very clean as were the surrounding areas. A little cafe beside the pool served sandwiches chips burgers, simple fare but enough to stem the hunger. As described on their website it is only a 5-minute walk to the beach. 15 minutes in a taxi to the old or new town and maybe 20 minutes to the 2 main marinas. A supermarket was a 5-minute walk away. On our last day, we paid for a late checkout. €25 for an extra 5 hours was well worth the cost. Our flight wasn't until 23:00 so it made sense to have the extra few hours in the pool. A taxi to the airport was again organised with the hotel and we were on our way. The taxi was €37 which was extremely good value. One thing to note, bring a plug extension 4 or 6 sockets. Not many sockets in the rooms and you like us will probably have phones, earphones, watches, ipads etc that need charging. Aircon worked, was only needed for a couple of hours. Great rooms, great staff, great pools, amazing views. Really enjoyed our stay and am happy to recommend it.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for three nights in October. We had a lovely view from our balcony, 2 bathrooms, sitting room & spacious kitchen. The apartments were a little bit dated & there is definitely a lack of sockets throughout but everything was spotlessly clean and we couldn’t fault it. The pools are great with a large pool & baby pool on the upper level and another large pool on the lower level. The pool bar is great and Leni is an asset to the place. She really looked after us 100% and we enjoyed chatting to her. There are steps to the beach just at the end of the road and a beautiful viewing area for nice photographs of Olhos. Within walking distance to Praia De Olhos & Praia Maria Luisa, restaurants, supermarkets & bars.

We stayed here for a week in may. I was really pleasantly surprised. The photos don’t do this accommodation justice. We booked 3 apartments. 2x1 beds and 1x2 beds. The apartments are huge. Separate kitchen and very large living room. Really clean. We had 2 massive bathrooms in our 2 bed. Great location 2 min walk from the beach and the local restaurants. Lovely snack bar beside the pool. All the staff have good English and are helpful and friendly. Apartments were cleaned almost every day. Highly recommend and very affordable! Thank you for a lovely stay!
