The Landings Inn and Cottages at Old Orchard Beach

Fraud. The business charged our credit card over $500 even though we called them about the fraudulent booking. Apparently they care more about the dollars than a good, honest name. Don’t trust them. Terrible way to ruin a trip to Old Orchrd Beach.

This was filthy , had bugs, and I was told, by Sherry, the property manager, she would honor my *********** , only to later lie, and say, she wouldn't, and even after a week later, of check out, she is still charging my bank card, and I've had to file fraud claims, because she was charging me twice for upgraded ammendities, and my stove didn't even work, and when I used hot plate, that she called it, and had placed on top of stove, it would throw a breaker off, and so would the microwave, which was the whole reason for charging me the upgrade in first place. I've had to close my bank account down bc of Sherry, the property Manger, and loose 2 jobs, bc of missing work to deal with these fraudulent unauthorized amounts of charges, and when and times that she feels like charging it! She gave out only two towels each, face and body, no foot placement towels, and no hand towels, so you constantly had to go bk and ask, when u can get her to the door, not at the paying customers times, this was most disgusting poorly ran property!!!

I stayed here 8/23 as a single. There were several issues all of which would eliminate this place from any future stay or recommendation: 1) Not any kind of cup in the room. No plastic, paper glass or other option. I believe this is the first place I have ever stayed with no way to drink or rinse. 2) No face towels. Just 2 bath which was ok as I was alone, bur very weird 3) Shower did not work. Water literally just dripped from the shower head so, I had to cup my hands and collect water in order to shower. 4) Coffee maker with no coffee nor coffee cups?? Why have it? The room was ok, no major issues but this place is definitely a never again for me. I wasn't expecting the Ritz, but this was really ridiculous. Find a better option!!!

Small and uncomfortable... We chose this location for the kitchenette. There were nice dishes and coffee cups, newer fry pans. No water glasses, no knives for slicing. Futon was hard and you could feel the springs. We had to sit on our bed pillows. Pool was green, no lounge chairs, only more hard plastic chairs. No view, you see the tops of buildings. They advertise close to the beach. No... floors were unclean, especially the bathroom... Bed was clean and OK... It really needs help Way overpriced for what you get.
