We went to Cat Island in the 1980's. At that time Tony was doing the flights, but had to cancel the flight. His wife hooked us up with Bob Burg? He took us in his plane to the island but really gave us a marvelous tour! I will never forget our stay. The perfect hostess, Pam was so lovely. THE most beautiful place in the world hands down.. we swam in skinny-dip cove, water skied and went to an island party. Best best time ever!

We were staying on Cat and went to Fernandez for dinner one night and it was spectacular! The setting is beautiful, people were great and we were served an amazing meal beach side with a view you had to see to believe. Our waiter, Shawn, was awesome. Super friendly and took great care of us. If you are on Cat, and not staying at Fernandez, you must go there for meals. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner service.

Amazing location. The bay is beautiful, snorkeling is good, plenty of gorgeous places to kayak. The staff are amazing and so friendly. The food is amazing. The property is not the fanciest but is quaint, relaxing, casual, comfortable, quiet. It is everything you need for a relaxing island experience. The people on Cat island are super friendly and welcoming too. We throughly enjoyed our week there.

Fernandez Bay Village is a place where the universe must have sprinkled stardust. This simply designed respite is enchanting. We loved every minute of our stay because of the attentive staff, the gorgeous beach, delicious meals, kayaks, snorkeling, and the peace. Keisha welcomed us in after our rented VRBO house was not up to par. A wrong turn while driving led us to Fernandez Bay, a Godsend! If you are seeking an experience where you are offered total relaxation on a beach that looks like it was plucked from National Geographic, this is the place for you. We will return next year during the dark, cold days of February. What a blessing!

We’ve been coming to FBV for over 30 years, and it was just as welcoming as always! Kisha, Donna, and the staff are amazing! We feel like family from the time we make our reservations til we fly out at the end of our visit. We stayed as a group of friends at Manor House, and loved it. We sailed with Seth and Marissa on the Destiny lll, snorkeled in incredibly clear water, and fished from the boat. Visited the Regatta for Junkaroo, saw beautiful sunsets and a rainbow!

What a wonderful place! Had dinner at this little rustic resort/restaurant on the beach last night. Had we not done airbnb we would have stayed here. Met the owners who are so kind. The place is stunning and the location is the best I’ve seen in the Bahamas. The food was wonderful the service kind and considerate. The evening cook I believe her name was Marleen came out and checked on us. Felt 5 star on a remote island!

Great stay at Fernandez Bay. We stayed at the Beach House and Coconut Cottage. Both accommodations just steps from one of the most gorgeous beaches in the Bahamas and the Caribbean. The food was great, the service was great, and the staff was exceptional! We can’t say enough good things about Keisha, Asia, Anita, Omar, Shawn, Marlene, and the entire staff at the resort. If I didn’t remember your name, I will never forget your smiling faces and how each and everyone of you remembered our names. We shall return!

Just got back from staying at this wonderful gem and what a wild story I have to tell. The ownership changed while I was there. I am touching on what the old ownership was like because I am afraid people might have come here and experienced their version of hospitality and won’t come back. I have never witnessed in all my years of travel what happened and the vileness of the old owner. He was horrible to staff and guests. That being said the new owners could not have been kinder and I believe they are going to polish up this little gem. They want to be apart of the community of Cat Island which is so important on such a small island. The people that work there are some of the kindest people I ever met in my travels. Kisha, Anita, Omar, Shawn and so many I can’t name here are simply the best. These are people who some have been there for 30 years. Definitely a family feel. For the employees, I couldn’t be happier. For myself, I can’t wait to come back very soon and experience the wonderful changes that are to come. Best wishes to the new owners!
