Casagliana Suite Resort

Stayed 10 days in September and had ample opportunity to enjoy this lovely resort and get to know the staff. The place is very nice, the pool sublime, but the icing on the cake are the people who make this resort function seamlessly. Allow me to say a few words about Casigliana’s wonderful staff: 1. Manager, man-for-all, ‘valet’ Kristian Kristian always had time for a chat. He generously shared his knowledge. No question was too dofficult for him to answer. Every problem had a solution. We greatly enjoyed our conversations with Kristian and greatly appreciated his help. If you are here on a Thursday make sure you check out the local white tent market up the road in Sao Pantaleo. Kristian can give you more info. In English. Kristian knows how to hire excellent staff. Charming young man. 2. Breakfast angel Natali It was always a pleasure wandering down to the main terrace for breakfast and starting the day with a huge smile from Natali. She always thought a few steps ahead, quickly learned our preferences and provided consistently charming service. She is fluent in Spanish, speaks excellent Italian and is happy to converse with you in English. We were lucky to have sunshine every day. Had the weather been less sunny, Natali’s shining personality would have provided ample sunshine. 3. Housekeeping Rita Rita works every single day and does not tire of keeping the apartment spic span. She always had a ready smile and was happy to try her best to communicate in English. Her side kick Stella’s mom is just as pleasant and helpful. We appreciated their consistent attentive service. 4. Pool man and gardener Mikael Has a tough job working under grueling conditions (sometimes as hot as 40C) keeping the pool looking heavenly and the ample garden growing despite an absence of rain. Apparently the pool loses 1,000 l every day due to evaporation. We had daily temperatures above 30C. It was a constant fight to keep the plants from drying out. The Costa Smeralda is not too far by car. There’s a lovely vineyard you can visit if you have booked a tour. It’s only 1:/2 hour to the airport in Olbia. Nonetheless the location is quiet and rural. One morning we encountered a huge tortoise munching away behind our apartment. The resort is an interesting melange of apartment and hotel. Our apartment was cleaned daily thanks to Rita. Our stay included a large breakfast thanks to Natali. On the other hand we had everything we needed to cook our own lunch and dinner. A large supermarket is only 10 minutes away. Between 5 pm and 9 pm you can get a cheese, meat or vegetable board on the main terrace. If you want to be away from the din on the coast but yet stay within quick driving access to the beaches and want to be surrounded by highly attentive, easy-going staff you will feel right at home here. Casagliana is undoubtedly a luxury resort, beautifully located and providing the opportunity to rest and relax, both for a couple looking for tranquility and for a family with children, like us. It was an unforgettable experience to swim in the pool late in the evening, to the sound of cicadas and in the moonlight. Unlike other hotels, the swimming pool in Casagliana is intimate, beautifully situated and never crowded. The apartments are well equipped with a washing machine, fridge and cooker, as well as a microwave. The apartments are amazingly clean, the cleaning service is great. The manager- Kristian is an extremely helpful, nice and cultural person, always available, ready to help with everything and answer all questions, giving you lots of tips and advice where to go etc. Breakfast staff - two ladies - extremely nice and professional, trying to meet all expectations, welcoming guests with a radiant smile and surrounding them with great service. Staying in Casagliana was an unforgettable experience and we are already dreaming of coming back ❤️

Per una buonissima vacanza familiare è un opzione migliore! C’è proprio tutto: propria cucina se c’è una voglia o necessità di cucinare nel appartamento. Allo stesso tempo ci sono tantissimi ristoranti nella zona, agriturismo, etc. Località del albergo è perfetta- Olbia, Costa Smeralda, porti - tutto è vicino. E poi è un luogo molto tranquillo mezzo la natura selvaggia. Volevo dire tante belle parole al personale- tutti sempre cordiali e pronti ad aiutare. Un ringraziamento speciale a Kristian! Insomma, torniamo sicuramente, la prossima volta con gli amici o parenti!

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en famille. Le domaine est magnifique et la piscine, bien que fraiche à cette période de l'année, a fait le bonheur de nos 3 garçons. Mention spéciale pour Rita qui nous a chouchouté pendant cette semaine avec de très bons petits déjeuner.

Mia moglie, mi figlia di un anno e mezzo ed io siamo stati ospiti di questa struttura magnifica, un piccolo villaggio immerso nella natura a due passi da Olbia (poco più di 10 minuti di macchina) e a 20 minuti di auto dalle principali attrazioni della Costa Smeralda. Le suite sono accoglienti e ben attrezzate (angolo cucina, frigorifero Smeg, smart TV 42 pollici, Letto king size...) Colazione ricca e aperitivo ottimo! Lo staff è super disponibile e sempre pronto ad esaudire qualsiasi esigenza. La piscina è stupenda e con una vista pazzesca. Secondo me impossibile non innamorarsi di questo posto, ci torneremo sicuramente.

We hebben hier 5 nachten doorgebracht met onze kids (9 en 12 jaar). Het ligt heel centraal. Eten kan je bij de buren (agriturismo's). En Kristian de manager helpt je met alles uitzoeken en reserveren. Het ontbijt is ook heerlijk.
