I will address the negative reviews 1st, to get it out of the way. I WOULD rate this hotel 5*. If you look at the criteria for 5* it meets it. The hotel is clean, there are staff collecting glasses and rubbish, mopping and cleaning throughout the day. There were many English families when I was there, but the perception is that there aren't so many families keep themselves to themselves but if you mingle/listen as you walk around the hotel you will come across them (if you want to). If you feel that you want to meet English people you can ask your rep/hotel staff to introduce you.. You can use the Google Translate to staff if they don't understand exactly what you are asking. In terms of room cleaning, you have door signs to indicate whether you want it cleaned and if you think the cleaning isn't up to scratch (of course you cannot blame ONE cleaner for the cleanliness of the WHOLE hotel) you should go down to reception and ask for what you want. It's very simple. Taking pictures and criticism of the whole hotel is not fair. As for the food not ALL being labelled, that is true, but this is in relation to some dishes and salads. AGAIN, it is possible to use Google Translate to ASK, some staff speak English although in my opinion they shouldn't need to. Now to MY review: I went with my 2 sons, 22 and 13. We arrived at approx midnight. The transfer said approx 3 hours but it was about an hour and half (maybe because it was night). You stop half way through the journey for a break. You can buy something to eat /drink/ use the loo. Tourist prices. I was advised to take Turkish Lira with me. This was wrong. Take Euros! It's very long to work out prices when u are told the euro, then they use a calculator to work out the lira then you have to work out the pounds to see if you have a bargain or not lol. Take Euros. Arrived at the hotel. Staff friendly and welcoming. The person who brings the luggage to your room expects a tip. I got that impression. There was some food available on arrival, it was pasta and sauce ans there is a 24 hour bar in the lobby, so we were fine! The room was clean. I asked for an extra bed and it was provided the next morning. The sun lounger issue depends on the other guests in the hotel. You may get guests who are super keen to be up early and that when u will need to get up early to put your towel down to sit by the pool. I noticed that when some guests left, there was a shift in how early you would need to get up for a loungers. I did note management put stickers on some towels but these people had left their towel down for hours and there were people without loungers. The managers made a fair decision, I watched them and it was justified. And at times had to get MORE loungers to accommodate. The 1 euro to replace blue towels may seem unfair but in the current climate, imagine how much it would cost to deal with cleaning all the towels and issuing new ones. I think it's a cost effective way to run the hotel pers
