Gormagh B&B

We stayed for five nights whilst attending the Tullamore Tradfest. Anne is so welcoming, and her knowledge of the area is second to none. Anne’s family home us delightful and in a very quiet location, yet easy access to Tullamore etc. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, breakfasts very delicious (fresh fruit salad every morning most appreciated!) Anne set the bar very high for the beginning of our two weeks in Ireland! Anne is a delightful and friendly person, as is her daughter who we also met. We will be back!

Our four night stay there was fantastic! We wanted a centrally located place to base our daily travels from. Tullamore is very close to the B&B and we went there several times for a bar/restaurant and shopping. Anne, the host and owner is excellent! She puts a lot of effort to make guests comfortable. Breakfasts are amazing! We had a general idea of the places we wanted to see daily. Anne asked what we wanted to see and had very helpful tips on order of priority and driving time to get there. She has a lot of knowledge and is willing to share about places you may want to see. She answered questions we had about places and attractions before we asked them. We had a great visit to Ireland and Anne made us feel at home.

Stayed just one night with Anne and so wish we had more time for a longer stay. Her home is so cute and very comfortable, the grounds are natural and gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious. But the best part of our stay was Annes' company and conversation at breakfast. She is super friendly and funny and I enjoyed her. When and if I get back to Ireland I will absolutely be sure to stay at Gormagh and for more than one night. Thank you so much Anne for welcoming us into your home !

This is a beautiful B&B presided over by the wonderful Anne O'Brien. The rooms are bright and comfortable, the food is great, and the service is precious. The location is close to town but out in the country where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and have a pleasant walk along a country road. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and will return.

Gormagh Bed & Breakfast was the cherry on top to conclude our fabulous trip to Ireland. My fiance and I got engaged the night before and traveled to Tullamore for the distillery tour and to eat at The Blue Apron (VERY GOOD!). Anne welcomed us warmly and celebrated our engagement joyfully. She provided wonderful recommendations for things to do in town and shared lovely stories of past visitors and Irish culture. She is a true gem. We will be back to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! All our love to you, Anne. -Lauren
