I was travelling with a small group, visiting local schools, and we stayed here for almost a week. It's a fabulous location, with amazing views exactly as they describe, over the forest and surrounding hills. We were not blessed with great weather, but that gave us even more atmosphere, with mist gathering in the valleys. There were 4 of us in the King's Palace hut, and we had plenty of space. The design inside allows a little privacy, although that also made it a challenge to find the door in the dark without tripping over something! (I would bring a torch next time). The toilets and showers were in a separate hut, and were nice and clean, although didn't always have hot water. The staff were wonderful, and looked after us really well, helping us with everything we needed. There was a great selection for breakfast, which was plentiful, with excellent coffee, and a good choice for evening meals too. The weather forced us to spend a lot of time there during the day, and we enjoyed a few good lunches as well. It got cold, especially in the evening, but fires were brought in to the main area, and hot water bottles available. We went on a terrific hike, guided by 2 of the staff, who shared their extensive knowledge of the forest and surrounding area. (It was billed as 5km, but we reckoned it was nearer 15km, with a lot of climbing up and down hills - but well worth the effort). I would definitely look forward to staying there again.
