The hotel is wonderful and Mahesh and Sakoni, really looked after us at meal and breakfast time. Food choice was very good. Rooms are spacious and very clean and the swimming pool is solar heated but it was cold when we went to use it at the end of the day.

En Nuvari, el clima es frío en la montaña, hay calor en la habitación, las instalaciones de la habitación son algo antiguas, el hotel es muy bonito, el diseño del viento británico, el techo verde está equipado con una pared blanca, muy bonito

Uno de los hoteles más satisfactorios de este viaje, las habitaciones son enormes y la decoración es lujosa. El atento servicio inglés, el desayuno y la cena son excelentes. Escuché que había muchos huéspedes chinos antes del atentado, y esta vez el hotel era chino. Escuché que tuve que pasar más de mil noches, solo necesitamos más de 600. ¡Espero mejorar pronto!

From the moment we arrived we were well looked after with warm towels and a welcome tea which was delicious. We then had a smooth check in and were able to order a late lunch, the food was excellent the best we have had in Sri Lanka, we were able to eat our lunch with a view over the lake and the gardens it is beautiful and peaceful, which was well needed after a busy travel through Sri Lanka so far. The rooms are well thought out and have everything we could need, there were sustainable products and everything was plastic free. There was a lovely tea and coffee station in the room which was adorable and also sustainable with glass jars for the tea. It was also delicious. We later had a lovely dinner in the dining room which was beautiful with a chandelier and a fire on which was so beautiful. The food was delicious and the service from Lakisanka was attentive, gentle and kind. The beds were very comfortable and a great size. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake again it was so so peaceful and lovely in the sun. We had juice, coffee and tea, fresh fruit platter, fresh bread and pastries with homemade jam (the rhubarb is amazing) and then got our main that we choose, we had French toast (best French toast we have ever had) and the superfood breakfast which was delicious too. Thank you for having us, and thank you for your service Lakisanka and the rest of the team.

We stayed for two nights and it was a fabulous experience. Lighted Xmas trees, wreaths and corridors were a magical wintery stay. The weather was cool and calming. We loved the colonial charm of the 150+ year old hotel which was amazingly well maintained and the happy, attentive and chatty staff. We had dinner at the hotel’s Grand Thai restaurant on our 2nd night. The food was authentic similar to Phuket and Singapore. Rinodha was excellent at taking care of us during our lovely meal. Post-dinner drinks at the cosy Library cocktail bar or the Public bar (next to the Billiard room with the 150 year old immaculately maintained table) were relaxing. Delan and Mahesh , our bartenders were par excellence. All the service team & managers were truly outstanding and we apologise if we cannot recall their names. Thank you. Although the road trip from Colombo is about 5 hours, we highly recommend a stay at The Grand hotel, Nurawa Eliya.

La habitación es grande y los muebles son relativamente sencillos. La cama no es muy suave, me gusta esta cama dura. El desayuno y la cena, el chef es bueno, es más compatible con el chino, la cena y el cantante en el estadio. El hotel se mueve a la plaza Horton también es muy conveniente, conducir por el pasado, aproximadamente 45 minutos.
