Pedro Barn Hotel at Little England Cottages

The hotel is set in a relaxing and quaint private estate designed to look like a scenic English countryside (which it successfully replicates). Staff are friendly and helpful. The western food at the restaurant is good, which is important as there are no other dining options nearby if you do not have a car/tuk tuk. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Went to Pedro barn on Saturday afternoon to check out the place and the menus to figure out our plans and we decided to have dinner on Sunday and mentioned that to the staff member who spoke to us and he said "sure, sir" Then on Sunday when we arrived for dinner they mentioned that they don't have Burgers, Mushrooms, Seafood, Beef, Pad Thai and most of the desserts. so we ended up having two Pina-colodas and headed back to our Winchester stay and enjoyed dinner there. More than anything, we are just a bit disgusted in the way the staff handled the scenario, from not informing us on Saturday that by Sunday "most of the dishes would be over as they cater to Friday and Saturday, it being the more populated days" - as the person on Sunday mentioned to us.

Nice hotel located in Little England in Nuwara Eliya. The hotel reminds about a western style, British country side hotel and is also good looking- both interior and exterior. The staff are fantastic and the service the best! The food was okay but the location is really the best, surrounded by tea plantages and beautiful nature!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pedro Barn in Nuwara Eliya. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering stunning views of the lush greenery that Nuwara Eliya is famous for. The cool, refreshing mountain air and peaceful surroundings made our stay feel like a true escape. The staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Special thanks to Sampath, the General Manager, whose professionalism was evident in every detail. Nishantha, the manager, was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. The rest of the team, including Krisarth, Madushanka, Isuru, Dishanka, Arun, Dharmalinga, Nirmala, Paruwadhan, Niroshan, Kamal, Sham, and Dinuka, were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Their dedication to providing top-notch service was truly impressive. The food at Pedro Barn was a highlight. Every meal was delicious, showcasing the best of local flavors and ingredients. From breakfast to dinner, we enjoyed every dish, and it was clear that the culinary team put a lot of thought into the menu. If you’re planning a trip to Nuwara Eliya, I highly recommend staying at Pedro Barn. With its beautiful location, wonderful food, and an exceptional team that truly cares about their guests, it’s a place where you’ll feel right at home. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Highly recommended. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The food was excellent, with a great variety and quality that exceeded expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, always helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. We will be returning
