The hostel is a very cosy house with several rooms, a shared kitchen/living room and 2 shared toilets/showers. It is like staying in a European family home. As there is no reception counter, entry into the hostel is by key card. (The host clearly explains in an email how to retrieve the key card from the key box beside the door.) My room is clean and comfortable, and wifi is reasonably fast (fast enough for me to watch Youtube and Netflix). The hostel is centrally located in town, with Nuuk Center (shopping mall), the cultural center and most of the major sights within 15 minutes walking distance. There is a convenience store and an Asian takeaway right outside the hostel, while the Nuuk Art Museum is just a 1 minute walk away. Although the weather was horrible during my stay in Nuuk (there was a snowstorm that caused the cancellation of flights for 2 days and prevented me from enjoying the balcony), the hostel provided a cosy space for me to chill, relax, and watch Greenlandic children playing happily in an outdoor playground in a snowstorm...
