Nun das Publikum spricht für sich, dementsprechend sind auch die Speisen wenig gewürzt. Gegessen wurde Tafelspitz mit Meerrettich Sauce und Kloß. Obwohl im Knoblauchsland war vom Meerrettich nicht viel zu schmecken. Schade, seit mehr als 30 Jahren war ich nun nicht mehr zu Gast in diesem Gasthaus und werde es auch nicht wieder sein.

Wir hatten ein Klassentreffen über 3 Tage im "Grünen Baum". Von den Zimmern die geräumig und sauber waren, über das reichhaltige Frühstück mit frischen und köstlichen Wurst- und Käsesorten, extra zubereiteten Eierspeisen bis zu den Speisen und Getränken die wir hier genossen haben war alles vorzüglich und liebevoll zubereitet. Vorheben möchte ich den "Knoblauchsländer Gemüseteller" der auch vegetarisch also ohne Fleisch zu haben war. Es war alles kein Problem, alles wurde für einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt getan! Nachmittags konnten wir uns auch von den köstlichen Kuchen und Torten überzeugen ...sie sind auf jeden Fall eine Sünde wert!! Als letztes muß noch der hervorragende, herzliche Service hervorgehoben werden. Der nette Ober und auch die anderen Servicekräfte waren immer für ein Späßchen zu haben, ihnen war kein Weg zuwider oder eine Frage zu viel. Immer zuvorkommend und höflich! Schön war auch, daß die Familie Leipold uns den separaten Raum für die ganze Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes zur Verfügung stellte! Vielen Dank an die Familie Leipold und Ihr Mitarbeiterteam einschl. der excellenten Küche!!!
