Rohotu Fare

We had the most amazing experience at Rohotu Fare! The villa is beautifully crafted with so much love and attention to detail. It was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom is simply breathtaking – like a mini spa! The location is super central, making it easy to explore Bora Bora, and they even have bikes available for guests to borrow, which was a huge plus for us. Nir and his family are incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We would come back in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

This place is so unique! If you want a completely different experience than what you normally think of with Bora Bora, this place is for you! The hosts are amazing and will help you plan anything you need - as well as take you to the grocery store! We absolutely loved our 3 nights, which was the perfect amount of time for us. If you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you, but if not, I'd highly recommend it for people who want something a little outside the usual. Unique furnishings and an obvious love of nature and attention to detail was around every corner. Simply beautiful!

This place was such a rare unique find! Owner is incredibly generous and gave us a grand tour of his place upon our request . Beautiful arts everywhere with such detailed work . So many tiki collections with their own stories to tell. Outdoor restroom made us feel so connected to the nature and appreciate all the greenery, botanical garden and visions of the creator Nir and his family had put in to this place . All surroundings made us feel like spending our nights at the art museum . Nir offered and helped us book our next tour in Bora Bora also in Tahiti and it was great experiences as well. Also gave us suggestions on local food vendors and restaurants. I was one of the lucky guest who had honor of writing in his special guest book . We would highly recommend this garden of Eden . Ps. This place is located up on steep hill . It was much needed exercise for us but some people might don’t see it that way .

We returned to Rohotu after sixteen years to be astounded by what the proprietor has done with the place. It is literally a museum on the hill. A stroll of the grounds will fill your experience with the nearly 200 exotic trees, most of which are labeled. The smell of the flowers....exhilarating! Stone sculptures of tiki, turtle and Vahine greet you as you enter your path to the bungalows. Your habitat for your vacation is constructed of beautiful hardwoods and adorned with carvings and paintings reflecting Polynesian culture. The newly expanded bungalows now have air conditioning, full kitchen and utensils and a nice large apartment size refrigerator and freezer. A grand balcony with lounge and supreme view of the bay. Need transportation? No problem...they rent cars on premises so you can enjoy some of the fantastic restaurants on the island or see a Tahitian dance show. A beautiful sugar sand beach is right down the road and good size store maybe ten minutes drive by car or twenty minutes on a bike. Put that all together and you have my favorite place in Polynesia run by a genuinely lovely family that make your stay remarkable. We will return again....and again. Maruru!

This lovely place is more than a beautiful accommodation to sleep. It is an experience that will stay with you forever. The views are incredible and all the creative touches were never ending. Nir and his family went out of their way to ensure we felt valued and at home. This paradise was Nir’s childhood dream that he made happen and continues to develop and maintain. We FaceTimed our family so we could give them “a tour” and so they could visually experience this magical place. Rohotu Fare is among our favorites and will be a life long memory! We highly recommend this amazing, well loved paradise!

A 2 minute walk from the main road leads you to a beautiful walkway through tropical plants and tiki statues to one of the bungalows. The bungalows are large and beautifully furnished with carvings and other art. The bathrooms are as big as many entire hotel rooms and are attractions themselves. Beautiful views of the ocean, mountain and/or gardens from the large balconies, and private kitchens complete the bungalows. The owner/creator lives on the premises and is easily available. Even if you want to stay at the beach a few days, spend at least a few days here as well. You won't want to leave!
