Premier Inn Coventry City (Earlsdon Park)

The rooms have be revamped and very comfortable with all requirements covered. This also included the bathroom including a decent shower. Friendly staff from check in, to the bar and restaurant for breakfast. Have used this hotel a few times before and no hesitation continuing to do so.

Lovely hotel, nice rooms. But...checked in to find a vagrant sitting in the bar. Apparently they let him in "for a warm". He then followed me to the hotel door, and undid his trousers and urinated against the hotel door. I informed the hotel staff who told me they allow him in the bar but not the toilets. They would not clean it up as "it's not our door, it belongs to the theatre" Lovely welcome to Coventry, a tramp sitting in your bar and urinating at the entrance to your hotel. God help the guests who sat where he was. Disgusting.

We stayed here for 2 nights due to its convenience to get to the NEC and we were very pleased with our stay. The room had recently been renovated and was comfortable and spacious. Although there was no free onsite parking there was a car park next door that was £5 for 24 hours so we paid for 2 days and were able to come and go as we pleased we no difficulty finding a space at any time. One of the better Premier Inns we have stayed at, with friendly staff and additional tea/coffee/milk available in reception at all times.

We stayed here for one night in Oct 24. We’ve stayed at many Premier Inns, and the room in this one , was one of the best we have stayed in . Recently renovated to a high standard . The building itself is very impressive, a renovated technical college . Breakfast was cooked to order , and was lovely and fresh . Staff all friendly. Good location , being just under 10 minutes walk to the city centre. £5 car park next door was handy too . Highly recommended.

Everything in this In that a disables person needs. Met all our requirements. Staff were friendly and checked to see if we needed anything. Very helpful.

I don't want to come across as a Philistine, especially when this hotel has generally positive reviews, but I have to tell it as it is. Parking: It's not the fault of the hotel, but the aggressive manner in which the Multi Storey Car Park owners threaten £100 fines and only allow 10 minutes to park and buy your ticket is shocking. That alone is a reason to avoid visiting. Check-In: Miserable staff with no effort to make the guest feel welcome. No smile; no eye contact; no "good evening, how are you?". Restaurant: Miserable staff, who told me off for sitting down at a table. There is a sign that says "Wait here to be seated", but for how long must I wait to be seated? The restaurant was not busy, but the two staff (who were also managing reception) were clearly over-worked. Premier Inn management - how can you expect your staff to provide high-quality customer service if you don't provide enough staff to serve guests? Wifi: Free wifi is a pitiful 0.5 Mbps. Pathetic.
