Norte Nosara

Fantastic spot! These guys were so accommodating after a rough start to the trip (in a separate hotel). They managed to fit me in last minute and made it a memorable trip … Great pool, clean rooms and super helpful team. Shoutout to Kyara at the front desk who was awesome, always willing to help, very responsive and just overall very pleasant … and to Ari and Rafa for the great drinks and surf lessons! Would definitely stay again!

We arrived as a couple to do the yoga retreat led by Angela and Esti. It was truly the beachy, down-to-earth and authentic Costa Rican experience we hoped for - and more! The healthy, vegetarian lunches and freshly-made açaí bowls were delicious. I literally felt the toxins leaving my body every day we spent there on morning and sunset beach walks, daily yoga, healthy food and great energy of everyone at Norte. Such a respite from modern urban life to get in touch with nature again and a healthy lifestyle. The bungalows were beachy and comfortable with daily housekeeping. It was also fantastic to walk 2 minutes into town to get whatever your heart desires. We will be back!

The Norte Nosara was a good fit for me and my family. Our room was larger than I expected based on the pictures, and the daily maid service kept it very clean. The small pool was never crowded and the trees and waterfall made it very relaxing. The yoga classes were varied and well-run. They never ran past 7:30 at night. There was music by the pool one night that we enjoyed (and that ended by 9 or 9:30). The beach is about 1/3 mile away and there are several bars and restaurants nearby. The staff members were friendly and helpful. There is construction going on nearby, but that's the case everywhere in Nosara and the sound was not bad. Nosara is likely to get more and more expensive, but the prices here, at least for now, are reasonable. I am happy to recommend Norte Nosara.

Arrive as guests, leave as family. This is the motto for Norte. You feel this vibe the minute you arrive at the hotel. The first thing you might see is the beautiful swimming pool complete with a waterfall. As your eyes wonder, you will notice a large space for yoga in a separate room, a spacious bar and many places to lounge around the pool. You can order fruit bowls at the bar or go to a connected restaurant and order any number of wonderful, organic meals and smoothies. Though as beautiful as the hotel is, it is really the people that make Norte so special! Ari welcomes guests with a warm smile and tells you immediately to relax and enjoy. Lea will show you your room and explain everything about the hotel. Jero works behind the bar and is a craftsmen with the types of drinks he creates. Everyone is easy to talk with and can help you in whatever plans you have for Nosara: Things to see, places to go, restaurants, renting any type of vehicle you might want to use to enjoy everything there is to see..... We stayed 2 nights and 3 days and wish we could have stayed longer. We are already counting the days until we can return. Believe me, you will have the time of your life at this amazing place.
