Norwich Nelson City Centre

靠近火車站，就是空調不行，太冷

We absolutely love this Premier Inn because it's a perfect location with beautiful views along the river on the riverside walks. Unfortunately bar staff are virtually non existent and you will wait a while. We like to eat there for our evening meal, but this last year, favourite meals are always unavailable so we go elsewhere. The breakfast is quite basic for the money that's charged. The whole place needs an overhaul on the outside and we didn't take kindly to being woken up to an electric drill, being used by maintenance, outside our Premier PLUS room. The price of the car park has been hiked up to £10 when it should be half that for customers, in our opinion.

This Premier Inn is in a great position - near the railway station and Riverside leisure park with a variety of eateries and leisure facilities. There is also a retail park nearby with a Next store, H&M, B&M, Nike, Morrisons and Boots. It was easy to walk into the city centre. The hotel faces onto the river and we were fortunate to have rooms overlooking this. I guess many rooms just look over the carpark. It was relaxing to watch a few canoes, paddle boarders and small boats going up and down the river. The staff were the best thing about the hotel. Reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff were, without exception, friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel is large and the rooms are older style and could do with updating. We missed having sockets by the bed and no usb charging points. Aircon was working well. The rooms and bathrooms (bath with shower over it) were very clean. The instant coffee is the cheapest sort of Nescafé. Tea was PG tips. Easy to get replenished from reception area. We were given 3 rooms next to each other as requested by email before we checked in. Our parking was extended to midnight on the day we checked out so we were able to have a full days shopping! We enjoyed a leisurely buffet breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the river. I think it was £10.99 eat what you like including the cooked items and range of cereals, croissants, yogurts, fruit, juice, tea and coffee etc - kept us going till evening! A downside is the street side of the hotel and the alley way from the street which are scruffy but you can avoid them by entering through the restaurant before 10pm.

We Stayed at the Nelson Hotel for a weekend break. Always a great experience, the staff are fantastic and are more than happy to make your stay more enjoyable. A special mention to James, great service on reception. Keep up the good work and hope to see you all soon.

Whilst the room was clean it was also spacious but looked empty as only had 1 chair in it. Bathroom was very outdated. Walking to reception the hotel looks very run down, but it is in walking distance to riverside bars and shops.

This is a very tired, shabby Premier Inn. The windows are filthy, and your feet stick to the floor in the restaurant. The tables in the restaurant need replacing as they are old, tatty and sctatched up.The whole place gives you a feel of uncleanliness. The whole place needs a good clean, paint and new flooring. It's central for exploring Norwich, however it is on a very dirty, seedy road with boarded up buildings etc. I personally wouldn't recommend as this is one of the worst Premier inn s we've stayed at
