Oxford Country Cottages

Beautiful Cottages in the heart of Oxfordshire. We stayed here (myself husband and 8 year old son) and had the most wonderful experience. Felicity and James are excellent hosts and had provided excellent arrival and departure instructions via email and were there to greet us on arrival. We stayed at Trinity which sleeps up to 3 in a one bedroom cottage with a lovely small single bed made up in the corner of a large bedroom. The cottage was the perfect size for us. The gardens to the cottage are beautiful with our son loving the Wendy house full of toys and gardens to play with. We were very lucky and had amazing weather, which made accessing the outdoor swimming pool a real treat! The laundry room farm shop on site was ideal to purchase bread, milk and essentials and the cottage had a lovely home made loaf of bread and cakes on arrival which was lovely. The local area is rather remote however we found the cottages in a perfect location to access main roads for day trips whilst feeling that we were truly in the countryside. For local trips out we would highly recommend Rectory farm where we picked our own fruit and selected local vegetables and treats from the farm shop including the dispense your own milk, the most delicious we have tasted for a long time! We also enjoyed a meal out at Jolly Boatman and Blanc Brasserie in Oxford as well as Blenheim palace and LEGOLAND. A lovely week.
