Nimpo Lake Resort

INCREDIBLE… what an amazing place and the Stewart’s are really lovely people and fantastic hosts. You must do the various sea plane excursions. We stayed for three nights in tents and had a wonderful time at Nimpo Lake Resort. Our kids used the canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards and we were generously given access to a motorboat for trolling. It was just the respite our family needed! The camping facilities were primitive but super clean and we had access to a shower, water & electric. The weather can change quickly up here, so pack for anything, particularly if you’re in a tent! The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed speaking with the other resort guests. It’s a wonderful place and we would definitely recommend it!

We would stay again! Booking was easy via email and Kerry and Ron were available by phone if there were any issues. When we had a booking mix-up, we were upgraded to their directly on the lake lakefront Pioneer cabin. It was the perfect size for the two of us and made for adequate cooking and lounging space for our full 6 days that we stayed. Dustin enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning watching the ducklings swim and listening to the loons call. Kerry gave us tips on how to keep the cabin cool despite the full south facing wall of windows that gave us our spectacular view, especially during a lightning storm one night. Use of paddle boards, canoes, kayaks and rowboats was included in the rental, and made for a beautiful morning paddle before it got too hot and the fish started jumping. Ron was happy to find an option that fit us for whatever we were up to and super helpful and kind. Their motorboat and pontoon boat rentals rates were more than fair and Ron gave good fishing tips, with extra hooks available a short drive down the road at Anahim Lake. We’ve never seen a lake where the fish are as active as Nimpo! Overall, we adored Ron and Kerry! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at the Hilltop cabin. The cabin was clean & had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable & the view was spectacular. We used the potbelly stove to keep the cabin warm & cozy at night. Enjoyed using the complimentary kayaks. Highly recommend!
