Niko Seaside Resort

It was difficult to overall evaluate this hotel because some bits were just phenomenal and others severely lacking…. What it does well The location and view is absolutely stunning and every morning and evening at meal times that view would simply take your breath away. The beds are absolutely wonderful and comfortable and I liked the Clarins shampoo and shower gel and fresh towels every day. What it does badly I know this can’t be helped because it’s built in to a cliff side, but the whole layout of the hotel is very odd with 2 lifts to have to get around. One lift up as far as floor 5 then a corridor to another lift to floor 9. Because of the cliff side issue our room was long and dark. We were upgraded to a suite on the 2nd floor but our sea view was more road view and service entrance where the staff would congregate to smoke cigarettes. The whole lighting system in the bedrooms is utterly unfathomable. Why over complicate it, along with the electric curtains which meant you could have them open or closed but nowhere in between. When we arrived there was absolutely no hanging space for clothes at all?!? In a room that size we could not figure out why there was no wardrobe. When we enquired they said it’s no problem they can arrange for a hanging rail on wheels for the duration of our stay and that’s what we got. Utterly bizarre. The rooms with a plunge pool seem odd as from the pool and restaurant area you can see that these have no privacy whatsoever as they are glass balconies and glass plunge pools! We had no issue with getting sunbeds but I can totally see that this would be a major issue in summer. we did however love the resort and have booked to come again this year, just a different hotel.

Beautiful hotel , great location but be aware you may get this adapted room where you can’t open your Curtains as directly adjacent to a public stair well and shocking view Jet 2 happy for you to pay £2400 for a weeks stay in this room ! Jet 2 offer no apologies .. Just feel a need to warn people

Really really disappointed and upset to learn that the hotel has decided to close early this season cancelling our HONEYMOON with only 6 days notice!!! What a way of making an already stressed out bride to be even more stressed right before our wedding. Absolutely devastated.

This hotel is lovely but I wouldn’t say it is 5 ⭐️ It is very clean and modern and the staff are very helpful and friendly We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was very good. Plenty of options and lovely freshly cooked egg option The room was very nice. We upgraded to a sea view suite with plunge pool and I wouldn’t say it was worth it. The room was a reasonable size but not a suite, the balcony was small and the plunge pool was freezing My main comments on why I wouldn’t return are Sunbed availability. - there are not enough sunbeds for guests. Especially on the most popular pool 5. In October when we visited the majority of the beds were in the shade by 330 too. Maybe not so bad in summer when sun is higher The pool was freezing. I like refreshing water but hardly anyone was using it as so cold Housekeeping was ok. We had to constantly leave notes or ask reception for missing items such as replacement milk, water, teabags You did get beach towels provided but only two. I don’t mind keeping towels more than a day but like resorts where towels are more freely available (note you could swap your towels everyday just only the two) Some highlights The spa is lovely. We had a massage which was great and not too expensive The roof top bar in the evening is really lovely The location is great - so close to the harbour and lake with loads of options for food and drink Very comfy bed Overall a lovely holiday but not a hotel I’d choose again

I upgraded to the Deluxe Retreat room with a Sea View for my husband and I plus our 2 daughters. The first picture shows what my room should have looked like, the second picture is the reality. No balcony, a busy main road as our view and constant noise. I queried our room on arrival and was told that I did not specify that I wanted a balcony and this would have cost me more. I was also told I had a sea view. The hotel was fully booked so we were stuck with our rooms. The room was very small with not enough storage space for our things. There were no chairs in our room (as shown in picture 1) so your only option is to sit on the bed. The shower is open plan and part of the bedroom so there is zero privacy and the room steams up very quickly. The lights in the bedroom were over complicated. The room did not feel "Deluxe" to me. Breakfast had a good selection of food but the service for drinks (orange juice/tea/coffee) was often slow and we had to ask more than once. On a positive note, I cannot fault the cleanliness and location of the hotel and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

A great hotel in Agios N. At Creta Greece🇬🇷A high service level with a friendly staff. Clean is the usp of this hotel!!! But also it’s beauty and view on the sea.. Breakfast just as amazing as the view from the Mira restaurant and terrace. Special was the valid parking for our rental for free….
