Premier Inn Newquay (Seafront)

I only gave this hotel 1 star due to the fact i took my mother and father in law away as it was the 1st time they had been to Cornwall and wanted them to have the best time but on the 1st night of dining the steak came out raw when it should of been well done, it was taken back to the kitchen and fresh one was cooked the 2 staff members PETER AND RACHEL couldn't do enough for us and they gave my mother in law free bottle of wine and apologised But then on the 2nd night of dining we was hurried up because they said the kitchen was closing at 8 30 so the same happened again asked for steak to be well done but came out raw again only this time the staff member who was on that night was very rude and arrogant her name was TRUDY she took the plate from my father in law and gave it to the chef but to our surprise he through the plate on the side and while we was still eating we was asked what dessert we wanted, and then after all this we was presented with a bill even though we had paid and the Very rude staff member TRUDY snatched the bill back we was never given an apology for her mistake And also on both nights there wasn't even any garden peas, Myself and husband paid nearly £750 for to rooms for 2 nights one double and one accessible room the double room was over looking scaffolding when I honest thought we would have been given Seaview rooms which the only accessible room had With the amount we had to pay, and it was a surprise for my in laws but they had to see scaffolding instead of sea views

Normally stay on business and it's good. BUT took my family for leisure break and found the 3rd bed was terrible and rock hard. I swapped as not nice for my son and had very sore back next day. Water pressure was poor and shower didn't work properly as middle one wouldn't turn off. Breakfast was either dry or way over cooked guessing been sat for some time so not very pleasurable. Shame as its my first time away with the kids for quite some time.

Never seen nothing like it, popped into the restaurant to something to eat at 18.20. Only 7 people in the restaurant and they wouldn't serve me any food as they were not allowing walk ins. Strange place. Staff were pleasant enough but this is really poor

Air conditioning not worked. Windows are sealed. No sleep and feel suffocated with kids faced really difficult breathing entire night. Poor maintenance and even calling guest relations team, the response is horrendous and no responsible reply

Loved this premier inn! Really nice hotel really nice views from some of the rooms and the parking was also convenient, very clean rooms, nice food and lovely staff but I’d especially like the mention Trudi and Danni I hope they are recognised for their hard work!

We booked for the night, the location can't be faulted the view is beautiful, unfortunately we didn't get a sea view we had a car park view which was fine other than the loud music from the flats at the side of the hotel, our room was at the far end of the hotel and on floor 3 so the music was pretty loud. The hotel itself felt dirty, the doors needed cleaning, the glass and handles were covered in finger prints. The lifts were filthy, again covered in finger prints and the lift floor needed brushing. The room was ok, the light shades were very dusty. We were a couple but they only supplied 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel. The bed and pillows were extremely comftable hence the 3 stars as I would have given less otherwise. Parking is £14 for 24 hours and not an obvious car park, we had to ask where it was as did other people who came in. The bar was under stocked so we couldn't even relax with a drink. We didn't purchase food, the cleanliness of the hotel put us off. Very short staffed but the staff we did see were very friendly. Glad we only booked the 1 night.
