The Greenwich Hotel

As always, a perfect stay at this hotel. From the moment you arrive it feels both like you are one of the family, but also a VIP - and considering it seems like most of the guests are genuine VIPs, (the paparazzi outside testament to this) - is remarkable. For gorgeous rooms, generously sized, the price is reasonable, all the more so when they wake you up with a complementary coffee and replace the endless in-room treats every day.

I was very interested in seeing if this hotel would give me the vibe I needed. Upon arrival, everyone was so friendly. This property is a hidden gem. It was a one-night stay on my way to Poland. I wanted to do a site inspection to see if this would be an option for my travel clients who fly out of JRK/LGA. The feel was old-world Italian minimalist. The furniture pieces were unique and specifically chosen for each space. I enjoyed the treats in the room. That was a great touch. The mosaic tile work in the bathrooms was so intricate. I enjoyed a spa treatment at Shibui Spa for a 90-minute massage. The spa area was transcending me to Japan. Having been to Japan I will say they capture it well. The bed was fantastic. Breakfast was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS! Blueberry pancakes with lemon ricotta, but the bacon was delivered from heaven. Eggwhite with exquisite mushrooms and fresh broccolini. Love it. Let's say I was treated well by all the staff. I had a late flight out of JFK so I was able to work in the beautiful library area on the property. I cannot wait to get my clients booked here. I'm looking to bring a small group to have a SEX and the CITY weekend. Thank you, Melissa and Jennifer.

Love the location and size of this hotel. Quiet streets with families and lots of nice places to eat. The hotel is very clean and the staff has been super accommodating in every way, for ex. Recommendations on dining and reservations to small things for the room. We have stayed before a few times and read some of the comments about the sparse room furnishings, we appreciate the decor and no wall to wall carpeting. Please don’t change it! If I had to find a suggestion, I would renovate the bathrooms and tile and increase the lighting capacity. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Exceptional customer service, quality customer focus. I had a room on 6 floor facing courtyard. Room was amazingly quiet. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Loved the free snacks and choice of bathroom supplies eg shampoo which is in form of bath soap. Italian restaurant is superb. Best service ever and divine warm vibe.

We usually stay uptown but followed the advice of a friend and tried this Tribeca neighborhood gem. We had a junior suite which faced the street, but because it is enveloped with seemingly sound proof bricks, or some other technology that is not apparent, we heard not a blip from the street below. The room itself is casually hip, with every detail seemingly thought through, from the retro style snacks to the super comfy bed; we enjoyed the room almost as much as the public areas. I always admire nice bathrooms with sexy showers! The hotel feels as if it's been plucked out of an Anne Rice novel (or maybe New Orleans) because it has an undercurrent of darkness, with a sexy, verdant, sultry feel to it. There are deep cushioned chairs and couches throughout the lounge, situated perfectly next to "reading" lamps that make everyone's complexion look good. The food at the restaurant was jaw-droppingly delicious. Service was professional but unfussy. The gym is well stocked and great for a workout while traveling. The Tribeca location is awesome too, right next to the River Park, which is a great place to walk or run. We didn't have a glimpse of the famous owner, but we felt like we were in a movie ourselves. I'd go back at the drop of a hat.

The Greenwich is an oasis. I found it about 3 years ago and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The private lounge/courtyard is the perfect place to meet friends, the pool and spa are heaven, and the staff are beyond beyond. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and it is located near everything you need to see in SoHo and TriBecA. The Hudson River Walk is practically outside the front door, so you can Citibike or walk up to Little Island, the West Village, and the meatpacking district with ease. There are convenient subway stations if you have to head uptown. Honestly, a dream.
