El desayuno es normal, solo pastel de galletas, buena ubicación, conveniente para ir, la habitación es grande y limpia, el precio es relativamente barato, muy tranquilo, con piscina, recomendado.

My stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites New Orleans Downtown/French Quarter Area was wonderful. The lobby is gorgeous and the rooms are the perfect mixture of old and new. The only issues I had were one elevator went out and the extended wait for valet even though we called ahead. But even with those mishaps, I definitely plan to stay again. There was one gentleman at the front desk, I don't remember his name, but we called ahead for valet and when we arrived downstairs 20 minutes later we were informed valet had not even been called. This could've made us late for our swamp tour but thankfully we had chosen to leave early and had the time to spare. I had never heard of a king/king room prior to my stay at the Fairfield but I was pleased with the option. The decor was modern with the lighted mirrors and spacious bathrooms but the exposed wood beams and murals of the old street cars brought in an antique flair that makes this design very New Orleans.

Some people may not belong at this hotel. It is so different and unique that if you are a chain hotel kind of person, this may not be your thing. If however, you want to truly experience New Orleans in an authentic way, you will probably love the Olivier House. Any good hotel must firstly be clean, comfortable and have the modern conveniences. Our room was spotless with great housekeeping every day, the bed and linens were also clean and comfortable, and the price was good value, so it ticked all those boxes. Where the Olivier House blows the other hotels away is with the experience of spending time there. The building is classic, beautiful old New Orleans. The staff treats you more like a friend than just a guest, always ready to help, but not on top of you, when you just want to hang out in the parlor or on a courtyard. It is all very gracious from the free coffee, snacks and things in the parlor to the to their willingness to help give restaurant advice or a late checkout. We loved everything about it and the experience we had there.

This gem is off the beaten path; only a 10min trolley ride from Canal Street. I felt safe arriving on the trolley at 3/4am. It's peaceful, clean, and affordable. Great stay for friends/families of four. Dorms are accessible by key card. The female room for four has its own bathroom. Free WiFi and breakfast. The staff are so hospitalitable. I recommend saving $$ and staying at The Quisby.

El albergue es agradable y limpio, el desayuno gratuito es grande y hay una estación de té y café durante el día. La cama era agradable, limpia y cómoda, grandes llaves y puntual para cargar mi teléfono, aunque nuestro piso de dormitorio era bastante sucio y sucio, pero eso podría ser más bajo para los camareros. La ubicación es fácil y central, fácil caminar desde el autobús del aeropuerto y alrededor de 15-20 al barrio francés, sin embargo no me sentí seguro en la zona. Estabamos en la orilla de una parte cruda de la ciudad. Me dijeron que no caminar al norte o al este del alojamiento. Vi un robo a la calle una mañana y hay un número de sin hogares y otros que se quedan afuera.

Fue una muy buena experiencia y sensación de seguridad ,comodidad y buen sercio uff bolvería sin dudarlo a quedarme en este hotel el precio y el buen servicio y la calidad quedo comprovado que si pueden ir de la mano. Gracias se los recomiendo ampliamente

For legal reasons all of this is alleged, of course. Word to the wise, especially women, there’s a predaceous atmosphere here. Seems like the intention is to hire attractive impressionable women and encourage alcohol consumption beyond belief. One of their own volunteers likened it to “sex tourism”. It makes for a weird time. Great place to go if you’re looking for underage drinking because they’ll supply that. Got my wallet stolen on Bourbon St (watch yourself if you go), can’t help but feel like part of it was the negligence of Kat the volunteer leading. She was too drunk to properly guide. She didn’t even check on me after my wallet was stolen. I don’t blame her though, it’s on the owners. They put all the responsibility on the naïve and unpaid volunteers. The owners are never around, they just do the paperwork there. I was able to make the most of the trip but overall the hostel has a weird vibe. —— If you want to know the full story; Everything turned extremely sour when there was a misunderstanding with my reservation. I don’t blame the worker who missed it, it was a simple misunderstanding. My reservation was booked for one day shorter than I thought, they didn’t catch the mistake so I slept the night there and was charged in the morning (had I known this prior I would’ve booked different hotel for the night. Due to how much sound travels in house it’s impossible to sleep). They had no card on file because I canceled it due to the theft. They would’ve been outta luck if I had refused to pay, I could’ve challenged it due to their lack of due diligence. But I enjoy being honest. Hence why I’m leaving this review. I was waiting for my mom to send her card info so I could pay and Kat insisted on watching me pack. She sat on the floor attempting to manipulate me while packing, even tho I had earbuds in. She wouldn’t let me walk away from the fight, which tells me she’s miserable in her life. Her pride finally gave up after I continued ignoring her and packing for 5 minutes. She was attempting to have me sit in the office until payment arrived, instead of packing up. Sounded counterproductive to me because I was making myself busy, having a panic attack, while waiting for my mom to send payment info. There’s only one door to leave so this intensity made no sense. She also refused to give me a towel, even though I had an hour until check out. Seemed like an ego trip for Kat. Not to mention she didn’t sleep the night before working, she was busy partying. Kat might’ve done it, but Myrridas didn’t do anything to stop her. It was so so weird. So unprovoked. Felt very “mean high school girls” which is not that you want from “professionals” while on vacation. I understanding wanting payment but I agreed to once the card info came in and I wanted to carefully pack until check out time. Kat was acting like I killed her first born baby. Honestly got the vibe they were trying to hold me up so I’d be charged another night. Some of the volunt
