NOPSI Hotel New Orleans

NOPSI review  Our stay at the NOPSI Hotel was a mix of exceptional customer service and disappointing accommodations. We arrived shortly after 12:00 p.m. My brother had reserved two rooms for our family and was previously told we could check in early at no additional charge. However, when we arrived, the front desk informed us there was a $75 early check-in fee, and that early check-in wasn’t available until 2:00 p.m. We left our luggage with Kev, who was absolutely phenomenal. He provided us with a map, recommended great places to eat, and truly made us feel welcome. He was one of the highlights of our stay. After lunch, we returned shortly after 2:00 p.m. only to be told that none of our three rooms were ready and that regular check-in was actually 4:00 p.m. We left again and returned later, only to find that two of the three rooms were ready. My brother wanted all of our rooms on the same floor, so he chose to wait. We didn’t receive all of our rooms until after 4:00 p.m. When we learned the hotel did not have rooms with double beds, which was a problem since one room in our group required two beds. Unfortunately, once we finally got into the rooms, they were not what we expected based on the photos. The rooms were much smaller than anticipated. One room faced a cinder block wall, another directly above a silver rooftop, and my brother’s room didn’t even have a refrigerator. This was especially frustrating because he needed one to store medication. When he requested a refrigerator, he was told he could keep his medication in the hotel’s main refrigerator, which was far from a convenient solution. The staff throughout the hotel was friendly and professional, but housekeeping presented some communication challenges due to language barriers. While the hotel encourages guests to communicate through text messaging, that system didn’t work properly for me until Saturday night. Before that, it repeatedly stated I didn’t have a room, even though I was staying in Room 403. What made the experience even more disappointing was learning that other guests attending a wedding experienced room issues as well. Several told us they were immediately offered discounted rates or different rooms. When we expressed our concerns, we were told to leave a review. For the price of these rooms, I expected much more. I expected flexibility with early check-in, rooms that matched the advertised photos, better views, more space, and accommodations that met our needs. While the staff provided excellent service, the rooms themselves did not justify the cost. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at the NOPSI Hotel again.

I gave the service a 4 out of 5 only because of the staff from valet Alan was very helpful and informational. With all of our questions. Also Kevin my fellow Leo ♌️ Brother was very curtis and knowledgeable. And Dex our front desk and the young lady his co-worker I do not want to misspell her name but she wears a chain with her birth year on it 1989. Now for the amount of money I spent for the weekend and judging from other hotels I've stayed at and even motels. I never been charged for amenities. That they do not have meaning mini bars and or snacks etc. We didn't have any of that in the three rooms I booked. So the $176.22 per room was very unnecessary. Also we weren't told what was free to use and or not to be used even though we bring our own everything on trips. It just would've been very nice to know. Also I never stayed at any hotel that house keeping only comes every other day. So we all on the 4th floor had to endure a ferocious smell. like the toilet was backed up and whoever it was left the door opened to air the room out. And oh my God it stank very bad. Also I am a type 2 diabetic that takes insulin shots that I need to keep them in the refrigerator. I did not and I repeat did not have a refrigerator when I reported it, they responded back with, they would try to get me one. Then, I was also told they do not have one to bring me up. But I could use their refrigerator? I thank them for the gesture but I was scared somethings could've went wrong with doing that so I put them in my sister refrigerator. Now Dex was able to get me one but it was to late it was on the day we were checking out. Our room door looked like someone took a screwdriver 🪛 and popped off the piece where we stick our keycard on to unlock the door. That's probably what happened to my refrigerator 😆 but im so serious. All I am saying is if you are going to charge people the big bucks treat them as if they are VIP and have the things in the rooms that you are charging for. Covid is over these businesses need to stop over charging people we all work hard for our money and would like to get some type of benefit for spending it with yall. But my first time in the Big Easy was a blast 🙌🏾 one of my best Birthday's ever.

I enjoyed my time at this hotel. It was a lovely stay. The room was clean. The staff was friendly when you call they answer your questions in a timely matter. They are all around the board a great establishment to go and visit in New Orleans. It is close to a lot of different attractions

We had a wonderful stay at NOPSI Hotel! The hotel itself is beautiful, stylish, and full of character, with a great mix of historic charm and modern luxury. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and we really appreciated the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The service was excellent, and every interaction we had made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The location was also a huge plus—perfect for enjoying New Orleans while still having a relaxing place to come back to. Overall, NOPSI made our trip feel extra special, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful hotel with great service in New Orleans!

Hotel relativement bien placé, proche du quartier français et au calme Chambre spacieuse Piscine très petite et bondée donc inutilisable la plupart du temps Qualité du service qui pourrait être améliorée Prix des boissons relativement élevées pour etre servi dans des verres en plastique

房間非常大，有一個小客廳，還有兩個電視。設施稍微有點舊瞭然後我覺得光有點陰暗，跟酒店官方照片有點不一樣。酒店對面有越南米粉和泰國菜挺不錯的。地理位置很方便。

房間設施、環境都不錯。服務也很熱情。

衞生間很大..房間很乾凈..工作人員很好..酒店地理位置很好..就是酒店設施看起來有點年頭
