It has been my experience that when writing a review, companies may apologize and "hope to win back your patronage" at a later date. That doesn't help DURING the stay, however. I have been to this hotel twice before. My reservation and check in went fine. They are renovating the top floor, so there is a little noise during the day. The room is basic: pillows weren't comfortable (and two smelled so had to be replaced); there is a mini fridge and micro; carpet could've used some vacuuming; and the bathroom was very run down with mold on the tub caulk. Absolutely no service done in the room-no garbage removed, no towel refresh, no coffer resupplied. We stayed Friday through Sunday. Breakfast was average; bread and bagels are open to the elements are were stale/hard. No micro to heat up oatmeal pkgs. Very cold in the breakfast room, as well. There was no internet due to a part needing to be replaced, but the hotel was waiting on the part--I was told to use my hotspot if I had one. Those of us needing to work were out of luck and needed to find a local coffee shop to work in. There didn't appear to be front desk staff at all times (no answers to phone calls; no one at the desk when approached about concerns, etc.) All in all I felt that our stay was better in previous years, and we will investigate other options moving forward. For the money spent, it was disappointing.
