Basic room with a bit hard beds. Sweet people and good breakfast. For short stay fine place to sleep.

Room is excellent with a wonderful bathroom. Excellent shower with toiletries. Free fresh water and sparkling water. Free car parking. Residential area but no local bars etc. Didnt take the breakfast due to an early start. Staff nice and provided milk for add to our tea. Very kind

We are staying at this lovely hotel on our War graves tour for 4 days. We had a lovely premium room which had everything we needed for our stay. Fab shower in a modern bathroom and the bed was very comfy. We ate breakfast and evening meal in the hotel and must say was delicious. Staff are lovely and made us very welcome.

My two brothers and I have just come back from a Leger holidays battlefield tour.We all thoroughly enjoyed it, and although there is a lot of time taken up by travelling to get there and returning home there is an awful lot crammed into the 2 days where you are sightseeing.The hotel itself is very nice and the staff are welcoming.Breakfast can be a little manic as it isn't the biggest room and obviously everyone is having it at the same time.However there is a decent choice.The drivers we had were fantastic, Gavin and Jamie.Also, the guide we had (Mick) was absolutely brilliant and the tour would not have been the same without his knowledge.. what he didn't know wasn't worth knowing! Unfortunately due to some misinformation and mixups in communication our homecoming was a little shambolic which ended with us getting him a lot later than expected, but once again the drivers were amazing and kept us updated as much as possible.

We visited as part of a 50-strong Leger battlefield tour group, so during our 4 nights' stay the hotel was dominated by our (well-behaved and appreciative) group. The staff and management took it all in their stride with cheerful welcomes and goodbyes. They didn't seem to mind the mud from 50 pairs of walking shoes. Our room was fairly small but had all we needed. Twin beds (pushed together) were comfortable with a choice of pillows (square/firm or oblong/soft). Decent TV with UK channels available. There was an option to forego daily cleaning in return for a 5euro voucher-per-day, which we spent in the bar one night and put against a jug of wine on the last night. Tea-making kit supplied. As another reviewer mentions, there were no normal teabags when we first arrived, but on request at reception these were readily supplied , along with milk , after which we simply topped up in the breakfast room when needed. The bathroom was clean and modern - evidently recently re-fitted, with an excellent shower and good towels. It had the quietest extractor fan I think I have encountered, so a late night trip to the bathroom didn't disturb my wife. We also liked the sustainable approach to drinking water; these days there is no need to drink bottled water in France. Instead there is a drinking water dispenser in the corridor with litre glass bottles to fill and re-fill, a choice of still, chilled still or fizzy. A nice touch, which we hadn't seen before. The restaurant was a pleasant experience. A daily specials menu and a small but varied regular menu. The Flemish carbonade (recommended for a cold evening) and pork in beer gravy came with fries and a good dressed salad. Limited choice for vegetarians, though my wife found the min-pizza starter enough for a main course, having previously found the vegetable gratin more generous than she could manage, As you'd expect there is a wine list but both times we chose a jug of one of the 3 red house wines, good value at 9 euros and very drinkable. There is a small bar area, though the bar itself was not manned, so drinks had to be bought in the restaurant and carried down to the bar seating. It was rather brightly lit and not very cosy, but that is really a matter of personal preference. It had a good selection of books in English and French. The musical theme throughout was a novel touch, though the large portrait of a French singer on our bedroom wall was slightly off-putting, so we covered it up! We didn't explore outside, as the weather had turned cold. I would suggest the management looked into widening the access gate; we had an enormous long coach and our drivers had to exercise all their skill to avoid damage! We would certainly consider staying again.

We visited this hotel on a coach tour. The hotel is clean and well laid out. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast plentiful and tasty. Rooms clean and warm. The hotel is in a very quiet location with no other amenities nearby
