As someone who travels regularly i'd rate this hotel as average. I think the location saves it but If we're rating the hotel itself there's much to be desired. Pros 1. Good sized rooms with plenty of storage. There were 3 of us in one room and it was adequate sizing. 2. Rooms were also very clean on arrival and had everything needed with cleaning being done well throughout our stay and bottled water offered each clean Aircon was easy to use and worked well! 3. Had the option to eat inside or outside and the staff were quick with clearing tables between meals. 4. Located only a short walk from old town to the left and another short walk to a large beach on the right and if you wanted tranquility a small beach just in front of the hotel. 5. Pharmacy just round the corner as well as a few shops for essentials. 6. A le cart meal was fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes with a talented musician playing romantic music in the background and beautiful views from the top deck 7. Great gym, with plenty of items to use just need some tlc on the cable machine. 8. Beautiful views surrounding the hotel Cons 1. Probably the most uncomfortable beds I've stayed on, woke up with a sore neck and back, with one member having a very thin mattress on a pullout sofa and had to ask for a second mattress. However they were quick to address the issue. 2. Food- The biggest let down of the holiday. Extremely repetitive and minimal options. On top of the limited options, if you weren't down early some of the food like the salmon wasn't replaced after the trays were empty leaving even less to choose from. The same deserts for 7 days straight and one of the two coffee machines was broken with the other one having issues with some coffee types. Although each night was a different theme, it was the same meats just in different sauce. Pizza most days and I had a Bolognese pasta which was stone cold after waiting 10 minutes for it. We read the food was good here when looking at reviews but it couldn't be any further from what we experienced. Only positive was the meats that were cooked, were cooked well. 2. Roof top pool area - Good luck finding a sunbed after 8am! Signs saying towels will be removed if left unattended but they weren't. Meaning there were days we couldn't get a bed. If we were lucky to get beds, we were burnt to a crisp as there's no umbrellas! 30°c and no way of getting shade unless you went inside. There's no atmosphere, only music above the 10 sunbeds round the pool, up by the others it was very quiet and you were looking at concrete walls and venting on the roofs. 3. Entertainment was poor and only every other night. I recommend going to old town in the evenings! Lots happening, we saw a dance competition too. 4. All inclusive menu for drinks is limited and the main cocktails like Martinis, Pina coladas etc had to be paid for. 5. The lifts take you to every floor where someone pushes a button before you get to your desired destination
