Logis Hôtel Volcan Sancy

This was our third stop on our mini “road trip” down to our Gíte and was really handy for a visit to “Puy de Dome” Excellent Logis with very friendly young staff, and a warm welcome when we arrived. Our room was upstairs - the staircase is a little rickety so be careful - and from the outside had a bit of a “Motel” feel but don’t let that put you off. Room was fine for our needs with a good and powerful shower and comfortable bed. There’s no air conditioning in the hotel but a fan was provided which, with the open window, meant it wasn’t an uncomfortable night. (Note: A previous review has mentioned excessive road noise from room 2. This was the room we occupied and I can’t say it was a problem for us) Meals were taken in the courtyard outside and were of good quality, although the options on the “set menu” were limited ( although still good value for money ) Breakfast was typically French but of good quality and set us up for the morning. At £150 ( after currency conversion ) for dinner bed and breakfast for 2, I think that’s pretty good. Would recommend and return.

A reasonable priced place to stop on your way south. Rooms are basic but clean and look relatively recently refurbished. Great showers. Food in the restaurant was perfectly acceptable. The staff really make this place, super friendly and very helpful. Welcoming to bikers

Lors de notre départ en vacances nous avions réservé dans cet hôtel pour faire une pause pendant notre trajet. Hôtel très agréable, propre, bien équipé. Le restaurant rien a redire tout était parfait. Bonne literie. Personnels agréables et professionnels

Nous nous sommes arrêtés au détour de notre visite dans les monts d'Auvergne. Pas déçu. Très bonne truffade et le rocher à noix de coco excellent. Je recommande Du fait maison même les nuggets pour les enfants. Le personnel est accueillant et souriant

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel avec une chambre (la n°2) donnant sur la route très passante. Difficile de faire abstraction du bruit et sommeil très perturbé. Dommage car le personnel est super serviable, le lieu pas mal. Petit déj correct mais pas dingue. Restauration tout à fait correct, mention spéciale pour les burgers avec pain fait maison

En transit pour visiter Vulcania, nous étions deux familles ravies. Les suites familiales sont pleines de charmes, très spacieuses et impeccables; Le petit-déjeuner tout à fait complet. Nous avons dîné sur place et nous avons apprécié une cuisine faite maison et savoureuse. Enfin, de la réservation jusqu’à la fin du séjour, la gentillesse du personnel est à relever! Adresse à recommander aux familles!
