This was by far the worst hotel experience in my life! I am Greek and have stayed in many hotels in Greece and abroad, so far. Never have I faced such poor service and rude staff!!! Don’t stay here and risk ruining your vacations. As far as the facilities are concerned, the room was very crowded and tired. Old furniture, and no space to walk. We had to walk sideways to make it across the room. A very small closet with 4 hangers and no shelf space was certainly not enough space to place our clothes. An old refrigerator, empty (not a bottle of water to welcome us), buzzing all the time near our heads, serving as a bedside table. The bathroom needed a renovation (maybe had one in the 90’s). The hotel claims to have safes in the rooms, but they are portable (not installed or anyway secured in the wall) and one can simply carry them away from the room!!!! The room terrace was so narrow that you could just go out to hang the towels and rush back in…. Finally, the noise from the street was terrible (bikes, cars, people talking, coming back from bars) and kept as awake till very late! Although all the above are certainly turn offs for any traveler, they don’t compare to the main disappointment about this hotel and the way its rude staff will make you feel! From the minute we got there (we and our friends stayed in 3 rooms) they were not welcoming, but dismissive and really rude. When we arrived, I found out that they had given me a double bed, although I specifically requested two single beds, as I was travelling with my son. Fortunately, I had it in writing, so I stayed in one room the first day and moved to a different room the next day. Of course, no one apologized for the mix up or offered anything to compensate for my bother! When I asked for a second card key for the room (my teenage son needed one) the rude lady in the reception (the owner’s daughter) explained to me that this in not possible, and when I insisted, she rolled her eyes and gave one to me. Cleanliness is not their strong card either! Bedsheets are changed every 4 days, and everything looks dirty (yellow stained curtains must have never been washed), stained towels. When I called reception to ask how often the towels are changed, the woman in the reception (two daughters of the owner), was really rude and started shouting (!!!) that all I do was complain (she even argued that I “claimed” to have asked for two beds on arrival, although I had it in writing!). I went down to reception holding the dirty towel and she continued yelling, insisting that the towels were changed EVERYDAY and were changed in the morning, although I had found them hanging as I left them in the hangers: moist, wrinkled and dirty and not folded as clean towels should be placed on the bed. Later, I saw a poster in the room stating that the towels are not changed until they are thrown on the floor… I guess she didn’t get the memo…. I have never in my life been shouted at in a hotel!!! The following days these
