Top Joe's Townhouse

We received a friendly and helpful welcome and were shown to our room. This was comfortable but a bit dark. On two floors, there was plenty of space, but the en suite built into the corner of the bedroom was very compact and allowed little room to move or place a toilet bag or other items. Whilst this is a critical, we were in a standard room and there are others with much better facilities (and greater price) from what we can see. This does not detract from our 5 rating however, which is given because of the central convenient location, free private parking, the exceptionally helpful staff and the magnificent breakfast.

The entrance design is beautiful but the room was very basic! No safe, no fridge and the shower and toilet together are 3 square meters in size. The service is very problematic at breakfast - which is served stingily and in a particularly problematic and slow manner. At dinner the pasta was of an unsightly size and we didn't have time to eat the second dinner because they decided to close the kitchen at 8:40 PM, contrary to what was advertised in advance. We were here twice - once too many

I absolutely loved staying here, only for one night & I would have loved to stay longer; I can highly recommend Top Joe's Townhouse in Narberth. I had to switch dates as the restaurant we were going to cancelled the original booking! Top Joe's were SO helpful. I loved my room, slept well, breakfast & the room were both delightful ... thoughtfully laid out & so much choice. I also loved that there were dogs, with their humans, at breakfast. Friendly, super clean, well thought out & altogether a treat.

Travelling alone it was great to have a room door that locked from the inside and the exterior doors had codes to enter so security taken care of. The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was good with coffee including decaff - a rarity, in addition to tea including herbal, biscuits and still and sparkling water. Shower room was fantastic and everywhere was clean with rustic furniture. Breakfasts were organic and there was a buffet table with a large array of pastries, fruit salad, banana bread, preserves, muesli and cereals. You can choose from cooked variations all served with toasted soda bread. The coffee was delicious. The restaurants and conservatory are tastefully decorated and the breakfast music was delightful. Free parking at the rear of the hotel via a small alleyway. All in all a fabulous stay. Great place for solo travellers - I had a room on the top floor overlooking the high street. I would definitely recommend this place - its only 22 minutes drive to Tenby but here you avoid the busyness and noise of Tenby. I will definitely stay again. Thank you.

A great stay at Top Joes with friends. The rooms had everything we needed and tastefully decorated. The staff were really friendly and attentive - breakfast was excellent. It’s ideally situated in the heart of Narberth with onsite parking. Will definitely return!

Callum (the guy with all the piercings) & his team of staff made our stay perfect. Top Joe’s in Narberth is a hidden gem with its beautifully chic & sexy stylish rooms, which blend perfectly into a warm and social restaurant for authentically Italian pizza. The homecooked breakfast the next morning was a perfect send off to our stay. With ALL ingredients locally sourced, blended in with Italian elements, this was a masterclass in modern boutique hotel experiences!
