The hosts, Paolo & Patrizia, are wonderfully welcoming and helpful. We had a superb stay. They were very helpful, even joining us to some must-see sights in the city. The rooms are fabulous and breakfast top level. 100% satisfaction. We will return without a doubt.

Paolo and Patrizia really made me feel at home in their lovely villa. They were very attentive to my travel needs and had great connections for tours and the neighborhood’s eateries. The Vomero Hill neighborhood is a gem! I will definitely return.

Check-in experience: The hotel is located in a safe middle-class neighborhood. Initially, upon arrival, the house seemed a bit old, and there were concerns about the safety of the neighborhood. However, after checking in, it was found to be completely safe and reliable. Mr. Paolo Coppola , the house owner is giving us a sense of home. After his introduction we discovered that this house has a history of nearly 200 years, having been passed down through three generations. Truly amazing! Room features: The rooms are filled with the local Neapolitan lifestyle, with some furniture even being made by the owner. Each room's king size bed can be converted into two single beds, catering to different guest needs. The breakfast area is adorned with the Paolo and his family's life experiences and personal touches, including old photos, exquisite miniatures, books, scents, and coffee, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. A minor flaw is that guests staying on the ground floor cannot freely access the common areas, but if I book a room on the second floor next time, I should be able to access them. Breakfast experience: Breakfast is served in a very locally characteristic dining room. Guests need to pre-order the meal a day in advance, and the staff will have it ready the next day. Sightseeing recommendations: The owner will provide day trip suggestions to historical and cultural sites in Naples and the surrounding Gulf, including Pompeii. They even assist in making reservations. They also mentioned the opportunity to participate in local cooking classes, but due to our short stay, we couldn't take advantage of it. Otherwise, I would have definitely signed up for a few classes! Surrounding restaurants: The restaurants recommended by Paolo were fantastic! Perhaps due to the overall high dining standards in Naples, we had a pizza meal at a restaurant with a recipe passed down through five generations. Another meal was at an Italian restaurant leaning towards fine dining, with a wide selection of fresh seafood. The cooking method allowed the ingredients' flavors to shine, leaving us with a memorable experience. This hotel, along with these restaurants and cuisines, is the best reason for our next visit to Naples!

What can I say, what a wonderful find. Immaculately clean, serviced every day, by JR,comfy bed, hot tub and breakfast at a time of our choosing. Our host's, Paulo and Patrieza, made excellent recommendations and booked everything for us. It is highly likely we will return some time soon.

Patrizia and Paolo made our stay just absolutely wonderful! They are so welcoming, accommodating, helpful, anything we needed, they helped us with! The rooms were beautiful, and the history they provided us with regarding Naples and artisanship of the nativities was amazing. They took us to the Christmas Market locally and personally introduced us to the craftsmen. Their recommendations for dining, shopping, etc. were always spot on. I couldn't recommend the facility or the owners (who now seem more like family friends) more. You will never regret choosing them for your stay.

What a lovely place to stay! Our family of 4 was here just before Christmas. We loved the location within Vomero Hill and Naples. There were tons of restaurants and shops around us. Riding the metro and funicular to other areas of the city was easy and fun. Patricia had passes for using the transportation, which made it extremely easy. We also set up a day trip to Pompeii with a tour guide through them and it was perfect! We appreciated all of Paolo’s restaurant suggestions and reservations. Breakfast here was wonderful and a perfect start to our day. I loved the muffins!!! Their hospitality was top notch. Don’t hesitate to book a room with Weekend at Napoli. You’ll come away feeling a connection with the city and owners that you don’t get most places.

What a dilemma leaving this review! This was truly an ambivalent experience. The short version: A+ hospitality, but not the experience we hoped for. Let's start with the pros: #1: hospitality. It truly is some of the best hospitality I've experienced staying at any hotel or air bnb. The hosts were very responsive, generous, and understanding of the problems with our stay. They were willing to do everything they could do accommodate our requests. It's for this reason alone I leave any stars at all. And for those that don't share the concerns I list below, it promises to be a great experience for you. #2: Location Vomero is beautiful. Weekend a Napoli is centrally located and, as first time travelers to Naples, it was the perfect starting point for us. Ok, so now the cons. #1 Smell. If you have any smell sensitivity to mold or mildew, this would be a challenge. There is a noticeable damp smell on entering the B&B. The hosts put scented oil in our room to combat this, but this exacerbated the issue. Our room smelled both like perfume and mildew. Whatever issue is causing the dampness could not be masked. We did observe some light, grey dots in the shower that I understood to be mold. maybe it doesn't bother everyone, but is a huge issue for me and my wife. We didn't know if we could continue our stay. To the hospitality point, the hosts were willing to do everything they could to find a solution, which was greatly appreciated. We did decide to complete our stay (2 days total), as the severity of the issue didn't rise to the level of the inconvenience of packing, traveling, and booking another hotel last minute for only one more day. #2 Value: While I understand Vomero is the "fancier" part of town, it did not seem that the room and amenities were worth the price. I had expected more of a "luxurious" feel for the price. The room is very simple in design and 'feel.' Amenities are minimal. Just not very warm or inviting. There's no real common area on the first floor either, which adds to the "budget" feeling. More importantly, the walls are extremely thin. We could hear our neighbor watching television as if it was in the room with us. Privacy seems sacrificed as a result. Breakfast too felt "budget." The room where you eat is nice, but with few fresh options and extremely limited selection it doesn't feel worth the price. This would not at all bother me for a budget stay, but at ~ $200 a night I expected more. This B&B has incredible reviews from other travelers and I don't doubt their experiences. The smell and value may very well be limited to our room. But, it felt necessary to share our experience for any other prospective guests looking for a "fancier stay" at this price point. Maybe the other rooms feel luxurious, or don't have mold issues, but unfortunately this was not our experience.
