A booking made via *********** at this property is singularly the worst travel experience in over 30 years as a frequent traveller & travel agent. The place was dirty on arrival - with mould in the fridge, dirty dishes left in the kitchen with coffee stains on the benches & a white substance floating in the kettle. To make matters worse there were no cleaning tools supplied - dishwashing liquid, tea towels, cloths or even disinfectant. There was dirty linen left in a bag, towels left in the washing machine & in the other room (which did not concern us) the bed was unmade & dirty towels were left in the bathroom. In our ‘clean’ room the shower, the toilet seat & the blind were all broken. No bathrobes or chocolates as stated online at ***********. We contacted the owner & he said the fault was with the past guests & that he would arrange for the cleaner next morning & he would also come. We waited at the designated time; no cleaner, no owner. When the owner finally arrived he was aggressive, belligerent & advised us these were small things & for the price we paid unwarranted. He refused to provide any refund other than the 18 euro City Tax. Without prompting, he then said would give us a 100 euro refund if we gave him a review of 9. Needless to say, we refused immediately. Trying to be reasonable, we said that if he just cleaned the apartment, fixed the shower & gave us a refund equivalent to the first nights accommodation (60 euro + the tax already offered) we would give him a review of 8 - no higher! Of course he agreed to the lesser amount. The night before we left, he sent a copy of confirmation of the bank transfer to our account. We provided the review as agreed. After waiting 2 days the money never arrived. We contacted him & received an abusive reply ; he had cancelled the bank transfer! I am calling this bully & deceitful person out. Save yourself the trouble. Do not book or stay at this property in Naples!!.
